Love use of under stair space and keeps focal point interesting- better than under stairs cupboards
Love using stairs as walk through- would offer a glimpse of open plan back of house from front entrance (see ref point a)

Not too expensive and more practical.... Don't want glass for kids fingerprints!!! Need to ensure it can't be climbed up by children.... Not sure about gaps in stairs - dont want it to look heavy.
