Composite decking won't have trouble like regular wood. Do we like the barn doors which would cover the TV?

Like the flow from inside to out, retractable doors, and outdoor living room feel. Do we try to do something like this, or have the fireplace be the focal point and it be an outdoor space (no ceiling etc)?!

Having a covered outdoor area is really nice. not a huge fan of this one, but using this as a reminder to discuss with Mary. should we try to incorporate that, and if so does it have to be under the deck, or ?!
