Roy's flat
64 Adapt your worktopIf you don’t have space for a mini worktop extension to create an eating perch, could you do away with base units under a section wide enough for a couple of chairs? A full wall of storage elsewhere in the kitchen, as here, is a potential solution for maintaining sufficient storage. Again, extending storage right to the ceiling will claw back additional cupboard or shelf space.
21 Merge your worktop and kitchen tableA moveable table could easily do the trick, too, but that sleek flow works a treat. It’s another bespoke solution, but one that really increases the streamlined sense of this small space.
69 Harness your hob Because induction hobs are flat and almost flush to the worktop, they can double as an extra work surface when not in use. Simply cover with a chopping board. Bonus!Find out more about induction hobs
