I like this look...could possibly work in your space. notes for sue -stone is from Unique Stone Imports and is called Halsa Light Brushed. Yes I like this one a good bit. Good stone on front, wooden mantel (could maybe be slightly more substantial wood?)

What do you think of this fireplace design? would be easy and inexpensive to change the facade to something like this... The white mantel isn't for me, but yes I like the concept.

I like this one a lot. It is custom built and has wood incorporated into the design... Yeah this one looks great! If it would cost significantly more than the $3k restoration hardware one, I'm not sure I would need it to have wooden sides.
