Library

The front room when you first walk in could be a library or reading area. Bookshelves, comfortable chairs, and maybe a table (the white one from the basement? probably something smaller) would be nice. The front windows would bring in lots of light and make it a lovely space for reading. It'd be a good place for a library book basket too. A table in there might be too large? We'd have to figure out how to configure the shelves, etc, to make it work.

Maybe it would make more sense to focus on the reading nook aspect of the library. With a small table for taking notes and comfortable chairs, plus a way to organize library books. The kids need lots of books on shelves but Tim and I have pared down to our favorites and then he reads on his Kindle and I read from the library. So perhaps it is more about the location for us and the book storage for the kids.
