murphy bed

For our space this layout would be flipped. And remove the window wall built ins. Wondering if a corner permanent desk makes sense? To maximize space. 2 shelves only. 3 is too crowded.

This is my favourite table/ bed design. Clean lines. The table is a good size. * we feel that this room will be mostly used as an office, homework, craft room. Therefore the table will be down most of the time. * but when the bed is down it's more practical to be able to get out of bed on both sides ( our guest who will be using this bed are in their 60's) I think the permanent desk should be a little bit narrow to allow for space to walk around the Murphy bed. If we need more desk space we can use the Murphy bed table.
