I have included this photo because I like the contrast of the mostly white and off-white/light grey paint with the wood. I think that while our wood is lighter there still may be ways to have it have this "constrasty" look - maybe in a less intense way.

While I am not really a fan of the black brick, I included this because the glossy finish of the black paint caught my eye. As we think about how to paint the brick (we are leaning towards white), I wanted to include this to get our creative juices flowing.

While I don't like the look of this living for a number of reasons, I have included it here because of the painting. We are very curious about possibilities for art to hang above the fireplace. This paint spot is not our style, but would love some suggestions on size, scale, etc. for art there.
