Step: Very cool...would not need this deep of an island. Island would function as storage, prep and serve. No sink or cooktop. Ken: Like the floors and kitchen. Agree island larger than I'd like. Shrink island and add dining table...

Love this kitchen layout. What about the same in a transitional cabinet in white, soapstone countertops, Church Hill Reserve in darkest tone (black) oiled. Ken would like to have a wet bar area in the kitchen.
