Stephanie- This is what we looked at and agreed we both liked today at the blind studio. I googled it and found that it really is meant to seat 6-8. I guess it also has an extension for the 8 people. Also, some of the pictures showed a very different finish on the top. I didn't see a matching bench, and I don't know if that would be a deal breaker or not. I'm still thinking about the walnut table I have, and redoing it. I think the top of it is so scratched and would show so many scratches/need something on it for hot dishes, etc... I would prefer something more "kid friendly" or durable. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks! :)
