integrate a garden area on one of hte sides of the deck so jj can plant whatever she wants

built in side counter for grill. step down front to patio. pergola above. pergola should have half cover for sun, and other half above grill solid to protect from rain when grilling. maybe a method to slide a cover over? palce to sit built in on other side is nice. after step down, have patio for furniture and relaxing / drinking, and then fire pit.
