Bathroom Tile Layout

This is kind of my look. Wood look tile on the floor, a plain field tile and then the shower components set off with a herring bone pattern. Just a bit more fussy with the different colors of tiles.

Again, the herring bone setting off the shower components. Too fancy but we could pick a very nice trim, use the 2x2's between a thick tile trim and a pencil tile. Whatever you can think up!!!

The tile going higher than the traditional tile wainscot just looks so much sharper!!! The Bison Brick baseboards are much nicer than the tile baseboards used in this photo. The Bison Brick is glossier and much more interesting and of course my chrome fixtures will really add interest as well. We need to get the decorative wainscot cap trim similar to what is in this photo.

While this is not tile, I just included it because i think the height is again about what we want to go to or just maybe even 3 to 4 inches higher than the wainscot that is depicted in this photo.

Similar to what I envision for the 3rd floor bathroom. It should be special because it is sooo small and being covered completely with glossy tile will make it feel like it could be a master bathroom even though it is lacking in space. I also think the reflection and glossiness of the tile will make the room feel light and bright. I also don't mind using a decorative tile if you find a place that it would look great and pop.

I think this photo shows a nice height. Maybe two tiles heights lower would be even better though.

This also would be very close, it could be a tad bit heigher but it is fine and what I envision for the main floor bathroom.

Another nice bathroom where the tile work goes just a bit higher than the norm. It really looks just much nicer to go that extra bit of height.

This is only wainscoting out of wood but I think the height again is really great.
