better example of what I mean by a bartop that faces the TV...might ruin the flow of the basement though and make it look closed off
makes me wonder...maybe a bartop that's facing the TV would be nice for football. Just a stand alone long "table top" behind a couch/sitting area.
I'm not entirely against cutting that piece of wood and making corners/angles
if we have to keep posts..

Interesting how the live wood sits on top of the counter and extends further. the black top and light elm might contrast nicely for this.
