Design ideas for a modern home in Milan.

When our clients moved from a contemporary flat into a much larger Hampshire cottage, they faced the challenge of transforming a property that was both stylistically different and in significant need of renovation. With dated decoration and deteriorating plasterwork throughout, the house required a complete overhaul. The brief was to create a welcoming family home that felt light, bright and airy, balancing the character of the cottage and its beautiful oak beams with a fresh, modern aesthetic. The design needed to sit comfortably within its Hampshire countryside setting while remaining practical, relaxed and unpretentious for everyday family life. We undertook the full interior design of the property, delivering a complete turnkey scheme including space planning, decoration, bespoke furnishings, furniture, lighting, fabrics, accessories and fittings throughout. The result is a timeless home that celebrates its rural character while offering contemporary comfort and effortless family living.
