"Close your eyes" The garden of this little hotel inspires me. As I closed my eyes and made the windows of the appartments facing the garden in the backyard disappear, I slightly saw water shine. That's it! I am going to paint here a waterside... I have already left Paris for the countryside. I partially used india ink for undercoat. ............................................ Le jardin de ce petit hotel m'inspire. J'ai fermé les yeux et fait disparaître les fenêtres des appartements donnant sur la cour arrière et le jardin quand j'ai vu un éclat d'eau. C'est décidé, je vais peindre ici une source d'eau... Je ne suis déjà plus à Paris mais à la campagne. J'ai utilisé de l'encre de Chine partiellement comme sous-couche.

Small country fully shaded garden for winter.

Creative Space Our little client loves to draw and as she grows will need a space to do her homework. Space remained an issue and so we decided to create a desk for her that she could open and close. When closed, it's a pretty fabric noticeboard with a display shelf. When its time to get busy, it transforms into a desk with handy compartments for her papers, books and stationery. The toy storage chests beside it double up as a chair which we carefully built to a comfy height for sitting on. We decided to extend her creative space by turning an ordinary wall into a blank canvas using a blackboard and then complimented the look with chalkboard labels for her toy box shelving unit.

The client wanted us to design the part of the garden immediately next to the newly build conservatory. She was looking for a modern interpretation of the parterre to be made work with asymmetrical hilly site immediately next to the conservatory.

Wer vermutet schon, dass dieses Haus nicht mehr als 120 Quadratmeter Wohnfläche hat? Durch den schlichten Baukörper, zwei Vollgeschossen mit Satteldach, sind die Grundinvestitionskosten für dieses Haus niedrig. Den typisch amerikanischen Look erreichen wir durch die praktische Porch, die sich über die gesamte Hausbreite zieht, Sprossenfenster und Fensterläden. Der Carport selbst hat als vertikalen Akzent ein Türmchen bekommen. Abends brennt dort Licht – wie in einem kleinen Leuchtturm, der den sichern Hafen markiert. Bildnachweis: Stefan Alfons
