The challenge in this room was to create good head-height whilst maintaining the roof line. I convinced the client to put the master bedroom in the roof to create a sanctuary away from the rest of the house and the kids in the rooms below. During the build we uncovered the triangle in the wall and decided to create a feature of it. Now the client loves sleeping within the alcove and special loft bed was sourced to sit under it. Red banana passion fruit flower and foliage growing on a boundary fence that has been wired to provide support. The flowers are large and incredibly beautiful. The edible fruit is larger than the common purple variety and has about three times the pulp in each fruit. Slightly sweeter than purple as well and without the sharpness.

Medium sized scandinavian gender neutral nursery in Paris with grey walls, light hardwood flooring and beige floors.

Two species of timber were used to make the solid timber doors. The end cabinets to the island bench have an insert of meat safe mesh to give a nod to the past. Brown stone benches compliment the warm tones of the timber with red being used to give a colour pop and compliment the red freestanding oven. The dishwasher has been raised to increase the accessibility into it. Visually this works better with a fully integrated model. The Laundry was made into a hidden European style.
