Abir Cooper Design

Abir is wonderful interior designer. I have photographed her projects and she has lovely, clean styling sense and keen eye for all those little details that are so important in interior design. She has a positive lively energy and I thoroughly enjoyed working along side her. The finish of the rooms are immaculate when scrutinised up close. She had a great use of colour and understands spaces well and how to use them to make them best to live in as well as look at.

Abir provided the most helpful lighting consultation in our house. She listened and went above and beyond - offering lots of general lighting advice and also advice tailored to the space. She was very well prepared and the follow up was excellent too - making suggestions with a range of budgets in mind.

Abir completely transformed our bedroom to something incredibly cosy and inviting. We lent heavily on her design knowledge for direction, and she did a wonderful job channelling all our muddled requests into something that worked for both working and relaxing. One of the things that stood out from the experience was her ability to present us with a wide range of product choices that worked with the room. She even produced a one-of-a-kind art piece to hang over the bed (people assume it cost thousands!) She really knows how to squeeze the most out of your budget to get results. For example, she was able to adapt our current bed to match the design so we could splurge a bit more on gorgeous bespoke carpentry. We feel genuinely grateful for some of the design choices and the space is set up to be adapted for a future family. Thanks again Abir!

Abir was such a delight to work with on the nursery in our apartment in New York City. We had the problem of wanting both our girls to share the nursery, but we weren’t quite sure how to make it work with all the furniture in one room. Abir was very creative with the space, making it feel so much bigger and utilizing every square meter. Abir made the process of working remotely seamless. She provided virtual renderings to help find the layout that best suited our family. She also helped us keep the budget on the lower end since it’s a rental and not our forever home. Once we finalized the layout, she sent us a spreadsheet utilizing some of the furniture we already owned mixed with new pieces—with links and prices for each. Throughout the entire process, Abir was incredibly patient, responsive, and always listened to make sure we were completely satisfied with the outcome.

We were impressed with the design that was presented. The mood board reflected the look we wanted and the wall colour advice was gratefully received. The extremely detailed shopping list made buying the items simple. We would recommend Abir's friendly and professional service and she has transformed a drab day room into a favourite space. Serena
