We take pride in every commission, if you are looking for a single piece of bespoke furniture, bespoke upholstery, curtains or lighting, right through to a complete redesign. Taking the stress out of the build process. We often have clients who are making structural alterations to their house and we help them with new layouts or extension ideas and floor plans/elevations. Sourcing trades people from our extensive trades contacts, built up over many years in the business of design & build. We can fully manage building projects, from the costings to overseeing the details and managing the building site. The beauty is you have both the design and build aspects at your finger tips, so all those little details get sorted achieving the home you dreamed of. And if things get stressful were here to sort it for you or guide you through the process. We're here to make your life easier, but also your house to look AMAZING! Every client is different, on taking a commission we consider you taste, budget, timescale, any difficult areas or issues and then produce unique designs that address your specific needs. Homes that look great but also function to make your life easier. Endeavouring to use local trade suppliers and sourcing renewable materials where possible, creating sustainable interior whilst supporting the local community. We will use 100% renewable energy in our Devon based design studio and bespoke furniture workshops. Striving for eco-friendly interior design whilst still providing exquisite homes and holiday homes.

It was a pleasure working with Anne to plan our project. She is personable and took the time to find out how we wanted to use the space. Her plans have helped us to take the project forward and we cannot wait to see her design come to life.

Anne helped me to visualise a new kitchen diner and to utilize the space better in our master bedroom. Having lived in our home for 20 years it was difficult to see beyond what we already had. It was great to have several options presented to us. Anne was also able to advise on locating more cost effective kitchens

Having recently moved back to the UK after many years living abroad the idea of renovating an old 1904 property while not knowing the area or who to approach to do the work seemed very overwhelming. Anne was quickly able to provide an onsite visit and soon spotted the potential of this beautiful old property, suggesting a new layout that would suit our needs. Anne sourced beautiful pieces to fit our style and budget which allowed us to accommodate our furniture and accessories brought back from Asia. The tradesmen that she brought in were all reliable, professional and above all, lovely people. Anne also discovered a beautiful art nouveau black leaded fireplace which had been hidden under decades of paint and she indulged our wish for an industrial feel kitchen/dining room painstakingly created by her amazing builder. The extensive work of renovating an old property was not without its issues but all were met with practical solutions, can do attitude and with the expertise of experience. We are loving living in our newly designed home thanks to Anne and her team.

We inherited an awkward shaped living/dining room with poor lighting and were struggling with how to modernise it and make it feel more spacious on our limited budget. We had never used an interior designer before, but felt that we really needed some professional input this time, just for ideas. Anne spent a little while with us measuring up and discussing our tastes and then produced a couple of floor plans with excellent associated decor suggestions. We followed these and are extremely happy with the end result. We feel it was money well spent. I highly recommend Anne Gleed Interiors.

What a lovely person to work with. Thoughtful and considered opinion given. Ann looked at what we already had and in corporated these items into the final presentation. Ann challenged us to be bold and the results for us certainly were. We were on a budget which was skillfully navigated to achieve maximum results. Having looked at her impressive portfolio of previous work we wish we had the funds to achieve something on the scale that she had managed with her previous clients. Never used an interior designer before, but after a cup of coffee any doubts that we had certainly vanished pretty quick. We have other projects in the future which we hope will involve Ann.

We highly recommend Anne Gleed Interiors. Anne and her team took on the job of refurbishing the downstairs of our home in May 2020. Despite unavoidable interruptions caused by me catching Covid, summer holidays and us still living in the property, they project managed the work through to completion working with several trades, including a full window and door replacement. Throughout the project they managed the inevitable surprises, delays and road bumps with good humour, flexibility and great skill. Thanks Anne. Most importantly, we are very happy with the outcome of Anne and her teams hard work. We love the look and feel of our new downstairs and everyone who visits us are full of praise for the design as well as the fixtures and fittings sourced by Anne. We would have no hesitation in employing Anne Gleed Interiors again, so much so that my wife is already considering more projects that she would like Anne's help with.

After a full refurbishment of my apartment I engaged with Anne for the finishing touches, blinds, curtains, rails and poles etc. I was very impressed with her focus on sustainability and quality for the long term, Anne listened carefully to what I wanted and proposed the fabrics and design that met my requirements. Having agreed the type and the design - and despite the challenges of the pandemic - she managed the process effectively, communicated well and ensured that the fitters completed on time. When user error on my part caused an issue Anne followed up with an innovative solution and an immediate response. I have no hesitation in recommending with five stars.

Following a competitive quote I engaged Anne Gleed Interiors to help design and install a bespoke bookcase / cupboard project. Anne was very helpful in fine tuning my basic idea into something workable, and produced designs for discussion and approval. The installation company instructed by Anne, Ward & Masters Carpentry, were very good and their fabrication, fixing and finishing were of excellent quality. The work was commissioned just before the Covid-lockdown and although affected by understandable delays, Anne remained in touch and arranged completion as quickly as could be expected. The finished project met all expectations. I would have no hesitation in recommending Anne Gleed Interiors to future clients.

Anne has worked on 3 projects for us. Firstly was sourcing Tiffany style lights for our dining room. Secondly was designing and fitting a bespoke shelving unit to replace the old airing cupboard in our bathroom. It really drew our eye and modernised the room. Thirdly was a big project sourcing 12 large cast iron Victorian radiators for our house that previously had no central heating. They look really in keeping and look like they’ve been in place for 100 years!

We absolutely loved the designs. She thought of things we would have never even have considered. She had great ideas and also ready to listen to our ideas. We have a young child with to much stuff so needed lots of storage. Anne Gleed Interiors really managed to create very special storage

An excellent service! Anne spent time getting to know us and our preferences. She really listened and came up with a design that looked brilliant but also met our requirements for functionality. All the materials were responsibly sourced from a range of suppliers and were within our budget. Anne also did a great job finding and coordinating reputable tradespeople - she provided lots of reassurance and made the whole experience fun. We were so impressed we used her on three different projects. Highly recommended.

Anne has helped me with numerous projects in my home. She is a very engaging individual and is always a pleasure to deal with. She has come up with numerous innovative ideas to solve specific "issues" at home which we have been thrilled with. Work has included a bespoke notice board and soft for our kitchen area as well as a custom built radiator cover and wall to wall rug for our hall space (which was not insignificant in area or in complexity). Her network of suppliers and tradesmen is extensive and they too have been helpful and courteous. I honestly couldn't recommend Anne Gleed Interiors enough.

Hi Anne We just want to say a big thank you to AGI for all the support and hard work in making our home so beautiful it looks amazing and we love every idea and suggestions you gave. From choosing the bathroom tiles, carpet, paint colour to fully furnishing our home. Annes designs were not just stylish and well thought out but she also took real care in putting together a family home for us and making us feel she had gone above and beyond our expectations. We chose Anne over a London designer as she took the time to listen to what we wanted and seemed to really understand. We know she's a mum as well and really this helped us to connect and we felt assured that she knew what we wanted. We always felt comfortable and if we had any questions she would reassure us. We had a large bespoke shelving unit and window seat in the living room, which maximised the space. Also a beautiful bespoke wardrobe and of course a hand painted mural in my daughter room and on the stairs. We keep thinking of all the lovely additional touches that she added, making it our home. Anne Gleed Interiors oversaw the design and installation of our living room last summer. We had already used her to oversee our downstairs extension interior in 2015 - which included a new kitchen, hallway, dinning area and downstairs shower room. The whole living room was redone, new carpet, new wall mounted TV, new fireplace (we took out the 1950's fireplace and replaced it with an original 1930's one in line with our house it looks like it has always been there, exactly what we wanted), new custom made bookcase, new sofa, new custom made curtains. We relied on Anne's knowledge throughout. The budget was £8000 and this was met - work was finished on time. We are thrilled with the results, we don't think we would have got this standard of finish on our own.
