About Us

Award-winning interior design and home decor experts, designing interiors for more than 20 years. We produce practical, stylish interiors for inspired working or living spaces, which reflect each client’s individuality. From basic advice on colours or styles, space planning, interior design and/or decorating a single room to a whole house, shop or restaurant refurbishment, beautiful kitchen, show home, small business or hotel. We have designed, styled and renovated countless contemporary interiors and Victorian and Edwardian residences in London and surrounding areas. Projects are always kept within the confines of a client’s budget, working towards a style which our clients specify, or happily exploring new ideas. We also run Learn Interior Design courses in small groups for beginners and improvers as well as Feng Shui and the paint effect Marbling. We loved working with Sarah and her contractors and team. She really nailed the brief in designing for our home and understanding our style and taste. Always professional and there to answer our queries and worries and find the perfect solutions for any problems during the project renovation. Even when we were panicking, it was great to be able to have such expert advice from Sarah who remains calm and professional, is always contactable, knowledgeable and reliable. Sarah/Bright Space Design were recommended to us from friends who also found her through a recommendation and we wouldn’t hesitate to use her for any further projects. All our friends and family comment positively on the quality and beauty of our interior design reno.

Thank you for all your amazing interiors advice and expertise and for helping us with our home design. We bought an ugly house (not such a great idea) but we now have a beautiful house (because of you!). It's been a long road but we made it and we are thrilled with the results. Sarah designed my house wonderfully! She showed such expertise and consideration for individual customer needs and wants. My house is unrecognisable, I feel so much more calm and relaxed at home and the whole family will be eternally grateful for Sarah transforming it this way.

Amazing transformation of our home which we could not have achieved without expert advice. We were really stuck with the space planning, design choices, lighting decisions, kitchen options etc etc and really hadn't a clue about how to make the most of it. Sarah is a talented designer who somehow managed to create something which not only was what we loved (but didn't know it) through listening and using her vision, style and experience. It's been a weird year with lockdown etc but we have managed to get through to almost the end. We are so happy with our home and really grateful for everything. Highly recommend Sarah and her team who we came to use after two friends' recommendations. We can't wait for Covid/tiers and lockdowns to disappear so we can show it off and enjoy it with our friends and family.

Really happy with Michael's work; we had a new extension and he fitted the kitchen and painted the walls and ceilings. We have asked him back to lay flooring in the extension just as soon as we've chosen it! Would definitely recommend.

You have worked absolute magic. Our home would definitely not be so amazing without your help and you have made our home dreams a reality. We were given Bright Space Design's contact details by our close friends who had their entire house remodelled with Sarah as interior designer and project manager and we were very impressed with their result! But now we are even more impressed because we have had the pleasure of our own renovation and it has truly turned out more amazing than we could ever have envisaged. The house looks so good and we know it would never have turned out looking like this without Sarah's expert eye. We would highly recommend to others!

Sarah took a great deal of time to understand my style as opposed to inflicting a design style on to me. At the same time I felt secure enough to try things that I might not have had the confidence to do so before. She has a wonderful eye and is a pleasure to work with. I won’t hesitate to use Sarah again.
