I have been working closely with Dan for over 10 years now. He and his landscaping teams have built many of the gardens I have designed. I never cease to be amazed by seeing what are basically just dreams in my head and sketches on paper turned into reality by his highly skilled landscaping teams. Dan has always been great at working through any technical issues that might arise, working tirelessly to honour the design and client’s brief as much as possible. He also strives to find solutions to any costing issues that might arise, drawing on his vast knowledge of materials and construction techniques to offer an alternative, where possible, to an element of the design, or material that might be working out too expensive. His landscaping teams are highly skilled, professional and friendly and are always a great pleasure to work with.

Just had our back garden landscaped. It was a fairly barn, sloping piece of land with gravel and slabs. It has now been fully levelled and artificial grass laid, and at one end new slabs fitted with raised beds on top. The whole garden was finished off with small slabs around it. A new step from the back door was fitted. We had a small gap between the house and the garden, which didn't drain well and had signs of rising damp. This was fitted, on advise from Dan, with a proper drainage channel. We opted not to go for the cheapest quote that we got, which was a great decision as 'we got what we paid for'. The quality of work and the attention to detail was excellent, and the team of up to four guys were polite and courtious. We are really pleased with the finished product and can't wait until the summer to get the full use and benefit of our new garden.

Danscape landscaped my front and back garden last summer. It was a six month project. The project involved many complex design angles - a cedar hot tub built into the deck, raised flower beds, built in FireMagic BBQ with kitchen countertop and built in outdoor fridge, water feature wall, and outdoor fireplace. I cannot recommend Dan and his team highly enough. Every member of the team was totally professional and his supervisors are particularly talented. Dan also works in conjunction with a garden designer, David, and together they really are a dream team. People are amazed by the transformation of my gardens! My project came in on budget and was only delayed by severe weather days which were impossible to work through.

Danscape Gardens helped us design and create our new garden, front and back. They used composite decking, steam treated sleepers to create raised beds and created fencing that improved the privacy in the back garden. The team were very responsive to our preference to reclaim and re-use some York stone paving in the garden. We were in regular contact and all design decisions were discussed and options given throughout the process. The on site team were extremely hard working, efficient and always kept disruption to a minimum. They liaised with sub contractors such as electricians and brick layers with minimal fuss. Dan Jones helped us solve a design issue we had in the creation of a bike store in the front - we now have a large bespoke bike store that fits perfectly, and all the neighbours are very complimentary about the sedum roof! All the work was completed on time and to budget. Would highly recommend.

Dan and his team did a great job. Punctual and professional throughout accommodating the changes we made without fuss and coming in on budget.
