We have always had a dream of extending our 1930s semi detached property with a first floor rear extension and a loft conversion. We knew that we needed a professional to come up with a scheme that fulfilled our dreams but more importantly a design scheme that would benefit our family in the years to come, enriching our quality of life and bring our vision to life. What I can say is Ernest Tsui Architects + Partners delivered a design that not only gave us our dream home with all its unique design features and details but have in turn vastly improved our quality of life as a family. The spaces, tide so seamlessly together and the flow of the house works in perfect harmony stitching the old fabric of the building into a new extension and loft. We strongly felt after meeting Ernest and his team that they were able to guide us through every phase of planning, design and execution. We were so confident in ETA's ability, that we asked them to oversee the key stages of our project through construction. Ernest and his team were always on hand to resolve any technical challenges that arose, his team are extremely professional and efficient, we never felt there were any issues they couldn't tackle or trouble shoot in a very swift manner. Their approach to introduce fresh, bold and innovative ideas is demonstrated throughout our scheme, and it's the predominant reason why we wanted to collaborate on this project.

I have a garden plot that I wanted to develop. Ernest and team at ETA provided a holistic service from feasibility to full planning submission for a 3 bed 1,500 sq ft singel storey dwelling. It is an unusual plot but ETA managed to create a design that convince the local planning officer to recommend approval! But it doesn’t end there - despite the official recommendation, the local council (Barnet) decided against the recommendation. ETA then supported the appeal process professionally, and helped to secure a successful appeal!! I’m a chartered engineer myself and have seen other architects in comparable scheme, very very few has the quality you’ll find in ETA.

We found Ernest Tsui Architects + Partners excellent. Our project consisted of a ground floor, front and rear extension alongside a first floor extension. Living in a Conservation Area, it was important to have an Architect that understood the complexities in terms of Planning. Having little to no experience in building and construction, Ernest and his team patiently walked us through every aspect of planning, the design stage, all the way to finding an appropriate contractor. We were confident in Ernest’s ability, that we asked him to oversee our project. In terms of dealing with contractors, Ernest and his team were always on hand to iron out any difficulties that arose. We never felt abandoned by either him or his team. They were always available with sound advice and clarity. Happy to use this company again
