Florent Chevreuil, creator of the company, has 15 years experience and is involved in all aspects of carpentry and joinery, including the design and manufacture of interior and exterior woodwork, two-dimensional woodwork, straight and spiral staircases, technical drawing, laminating and finishing. Florent has built a bathroom cupboard unit for us, beautifully finished to the detail and colour we wanted and all carefully installed. he has also just fitted ash shelving which is the highlight ion our new kitchen. His attention to detail is second to none, he delivers on time and is a pleasure to deal with. Can't recommend him highly enough.

Florent came out and priced the work for us and was very realistic about timescales for doing the work. He then came to do the work when he said he was going to come and he was very communicative throughout, keeping us up to date with what was happening and when. The quality of workmanship was excellent and we are extremely pleased with what he did for us which was a stair, a garden gate and shelving. We would recommend Florent and his business for bespoke carpentry work.

We hired Florent from Ecosse Bespoke to make and install 2 cabinets with floating bookshelves above. While he was initially out of our budget, his clear, prompt and honest communication about the project, not easily found among the several other joiners/carpenters we spoke to, convinced us to adjust our budget and commit to him. He followed through with professionalism, skill and flexibility from measuring our space, keeping to the agreed timeframe, prep work in the workshop and the installation. He Involved us in all key decisions and was meticulous in the finish, also leaving the place clean. When an unexpected problem arose he remained committed to ensuring we were happy with the end result. All in all, a very good experience and we would recommend him to anyone.

Florent and his team helped design, build and install a large built in bookshelf for our lounge. It was exactly what we asked for, and was installed when they said it would be. They also overcame a few logistical issues getting the shelf inside our home without any fuss or trouble. Using his knowledge Florent worked us to develop a layout for our boot room/laundry/utility room which was really helpful as we knew what we 'didn't want' but were at a loss as to what exactly we 'did want'. Once we agreed a scheme he then manufactured and installed high quality fittings and worktop - we are delighted with the outcome. We are delighted with the work Florent and his team have carried out in our flat. They created three bespoke handrails which 'sweep' round the corners of our stair and look fantastic, as well as being incredibly smooth to the touch. We have had numerous compliments on the handrails which were technically very challenging to make and fit. Florent and his colleagues were always pleasant and on time, and I would have no hesitation in recommending their work.

Florent created a bespoke carved handrail for stairs to an attic extension. It was designed to match and continue seamlessly from our 120 year old existing rail and included two twists (90 and 180 degs) and a sharp twisting rise. Ecosse Bespoke were recommended by other local tradesmen and they did not disappoint. Would certainly recommend to anyone with a job requiring true craftsmanship.

Ecosse Bespoke Carpentry recently completed building a large cupboard and shelf unit for me to house my library and provide some much-needed storage space in our small house. The results are every bit as good as I had hoped - the units look as if they have always been there and fully meet my requirement that they be solid and robustly functional as well as looking good. The work was carried out with minimum disruption, quickly and tidily. I strongly recommend this firm for their expertise, courteous conduct and professional high standards.

Hi, if you wish to have any kind of bespoke woodwork carried out by a courteous and totally professional company then I can recommending Ecosse is an easy decision.The owner of this company Florent Chevreuil is a gem, I phoned him about matching architrave (moulding around a door), and within a few days from my initial call he was at my home and measured up took drawings and advised about the best wood to use, and got back with a price again within a few days a rare thing with a lot of companies today. The finished article was a perfect match to the old architrave on the other door frames, and had been finished ready to paint. I have had neighbours ask about Ecoose when I showed them the terrific finish and match, hopefully it will lead to more business for a true craftsman and a totally professional service from start to finish what more could you ask for.

Excellent service and highest quality workmanship, I would thoroughly recommend Ecosse Bespoke to anyone looking for a bespoke joinery job. Florent translated our ideas for a kitchen mantel to go around the Aga into exactly what we wanted and has done a fantastic job. We are absolutely delighted with the result. Replacement of main staircase and bannisters. Ecosse Bespoke were the only company able to incorporate our requirements of curves throughout the project, producing a staircase admired by all. Structural challenges were not a deterrent. The project was finished with a minimum of disruption, to a very high standard, within budget and on time. The team were a delight to have in the house.
