Capstick Furniture

Ian Capstick has worked for us a number of times over the last 20 years. The most recent job was the creation of a full height set of cupboards and bookshelves for our refurbished sitting room. This included lighting, cupboards for the stereo and LP storage and custom built drawers for storing CDs. We were very pleased with the result and have no hesitation in recommending him.

We were introduced to Ian's work by recommendation from a neighbour 15 years ago. Since then, Ian has undertaken numerous projects for us, including bedroom wardrobes and furniture, a bookcase, sewing corner and window seats. His most recent project was the modernisation and extension of our kitchen cabinetry. Here he skilfully matched his work to the existing cabinets, creating a seamless blend between the old and new. We have always found Ian to be helpful and professional, with his charges representing good value for the quality of his workmanship. We have no hesitation in recommending him.

I have gone through a number of house renovations and have never found someone as incredible as Capstick. His attention to detail, taste and experience is outstanding. From laying oak floors in an old uneven floored cottage, to building hidden doors that encompassed vintage wood pieces (trimmed to fit). Could not recommend him enough!
