We are really happy with the works carried out by IDL contractors. Their attention to detail and keeping to timescales is impressive. We had a garage conversion and a garden patio laid both completed to a high standard.

IDL Contractors completed a refurbishment of my studio flat in SE London. They put in a new kitchen, bathroom, radiators, floors, lighting and decorated. The work was completed to a high standard - excellent plumbing, electrics and decorating. Lubo went through my plans with me well before the project started and had really good suggestions. His advice was very helpful. Once the team started they worked really hard, they were always contactable and asked for my input when they needed it. I am so pleased with the work and my family were very impressed - I would use IDL contractors again if I needed any work completed. Thank you!

Lubo and this team did a fantastic job on our house extension and interior redesign. They are very hard working and completed the work efficiently and to a very high standard. Our project was around 9 months and was completed to budget and on time. The project completely transformed our house and we are delighted with the result! Lubo and his team replaced the entire roof of our 4 bedroom Victorian terraced house we just bought. This included the installation of a sky light and insulating the roof area. And other bits like fixing chimney stacks and installing leading to avoid leak issues and improving thermal performance. We were extremely happy with the work they did for us. It was completed to a very good quality and in a timely and professional manner, with our house kept in impeccably clean condition throughout the works. They also helped with various other issues that came up along the way such as plumbing and leak issues. Lubo was at our beckoning call whenever an issue came up and continuously advised us well on how we could deal with the numerous other works we intend to do as part of a broader renovation of the house. We hope to use IDL Contractors for all of these works as this was just phase 1. We really enjoyed working with them and look forward to working with them again in the future.

We had a great experience working with IDL for the renovation of 4 rooms in our terrace house. From the start the communication with Lubo was clear and timely. During the project, the team was very polite and hard working and were good problem solvers when issues arose with our old Victorian house, as they always do. We only had a few minor snags and the team were quick to come over and address them. Would thoroughly recommend Lubo and his team.

Lubo and his team were great. He proactively worked with myself and our Project Manager and Interior Designer to ensure a great outcome was achieved. The team were very diligent and hard working. Everyone was very polite (taking shoes off etc) and trustworthy. Lubo was always very reasonable regarding any issues we encountered and fair regarding costs for any additional work we added to the scope. We are delighted with our new family home and I would highly recommend.

We are delighted with our extension. We were recommended Lubo and team by family who had done a similar project and we were impressed from the professionalism shown from the first to the last visit. We didn't think the 16 week timeline could be met but the team worked tirelessly in those first few weeks despite adverse weather (we started in February) and despite having to make some changes midway to the design to reinforce the structure, we still managed to finish on time. Lubo and his IDL team came to do our middle floor bathroom and a cloakroom loo. Both spaces are small, with little room for manoeuvre. From the very outset, Lubo helped us carefully measure the spaces and work out the art of the possible. His team was amazing - again, really careful with the fittings, finding solutions for us and making it all fit seamlessly. We're delighted with the end results.

Our property is an old Rag Stone cottage in Kent. We finally got permission for a large extension that combined traditional stonework with large expanses of glazing, adding a new kitchen, utility room, two new bedrooms, a dressing room and a bathroom. We really could not be happier with the result that Lubo and his team provided. Both Lubo and his team from IDL Contractors were a joy to have around, always smiling, and their attention to detail is second to none. They arrived on time every day, and trust me they work hard...8am till mid afternoon with a quick lunch break. We had previously had rag stone done by a local 'expert' builder, and the difference in the quality provided by IDL is so much better. Lubo has many experts on hand so he ended up handling everything from electrics, plumbing, drainage and even laying a new patio that lines up perfectly with matching interior tiles in the kitchen. Even when things inevitably go wrong with a build like this, I have to say that IDL were very professional regarding extra costs that were kept to a minimum, Lubo was very transparent with costs and we only got charged if they were changes that we made (of which there were many, which must have driven him mad, but he took it all in his stride). Lubo was also excellent when dealing with our external suppliers that provided glass, porcelain tiles, bathrooms, kitchens etc. We had Lubo and his team on our property every day for almost 6 months - it was a big project! But I have to say we never had a cross word with either Lubo or his team. They are punctual, polite, clean, respectful and knowledgeable. Special thanks to Jan & Moustache Man and the rest of the gang! I cannot stress how happy we are with the result, and also how happy we are that we put our faith in IDL Contractors Ltd. We were very impressed with the work IDL Contractors undertook on our garden and external stairs. They were very professional, diligent and tidy. They completed the work to schedule, to budget and to a very high standard. Lubo constantly checked in over email and on site visits to ensure that we were happy with how the work was progressing. You could see how important it was for them to do a great job - and they did! We are very pleased with the finished work.

I'll start with the punchline - I couldn't Lubo and the wider team at IDL Contractors any more (or more often) if I tried. Without question, they made our 10 week kitchen/dining room/utility room/downstairs w.c renovation incredibly smooth and pain-free. Lubo was the middle of three quotes, but we had a great connection straight away (and this continued all the way through the job - and was replicated with all members of his team). He provided a clear timeline with milestones at the end of each fortnight and these were all met. We had some challenges, where the team uncovered some issues with the previous builder's work, but they went straight into solution-mode and proposed two courses of action (two options, for different budgets) that allowed them to make up the lost time. The team did everything they said they were going to do; they were on time EVERY day; they communicated clearly and often; and they made a hugely disruptive project genuinely exciting (we're a house of two adults and two teens, so being without a kitchen and living space could've been hellish!). Lubo and the team were Fantastic - I’ve done 3 projects in London and always been let down by previous contractors so was naturally skeptical that I would find someone honest, hardworking and thorough. Lubo’s team proved to be all three and went to lengths no other contractor had to ensure the project went well. They recommended better ways to do things (even if it involved more work), ways to reduce cost and even came and sorted out some problems previous builders had left without additional charge. Lubo and his team worked on renovating a bathroom and two W/Cs. I am very happy with the output. They are professional and reliable. They regularly kept me updated with the progress of their work and asked me for feedback. The quality of finish is top-notch. I will gladly hire them again for any other renovation work in my home.

We hired Lubo and his team to carry out extensive works at our dilapidated Victorian terrace. This included a full rewire, new bathroom, new hot water system, new radiator installation and some carpentry. Lubo was incredibly professional and respectful from the first meeting. We had several more meetings to hone the full scope of works and a detailed timeline was put together. Lubo’s team started right on schedule and were tidy (as much as can be in a building site!), respectful and helpful the entire time they were working at our house. Whilst different team members were specialist in different things, all maintained the high standards that Lubo obviously sets. Lubo was in constant contact and visited the site often to make sure works were onschedule and we were happy with how things were progressing. As ever with such works there were a few unexpected obstacles that came up along the way but Lubo was excellent in communicating potential solutions and flexible in which option we selected. I would absolutely work with Lubo and his team again and would be happy to recommend him to others!

From the 1st time we met with Lubo, when he came to estimate the project, to today we have had a great relationship with him. He's very clear on what he will deliver and is very happy to facilitate any requests where he can. The team that works with him is also very nice and fun to be around as they work. We had our bathroom completely redone, including move the toilet, bath, shower and sink in completely different locations. Quite a big job, but Lubo's guys powered through it and were done within 4 weeks. We love our new bathroom and the excellent finish and attention to detail. Finally we had IDL also replumb our radiators (6 of them) throughout the house, including installing new radiators and moving 3 into a different location. Overall it took them only 1 day to replace all and move to the new locations, lay the pipes, test and flush the system etc. and we had heating by the end of the day again. Lubo and his team were by far the most skilled, precise, tidy, and helpful tradespeople I worked with during the renovation of my flat. They completed my bathroom installation to the very highest standard and I only wish I had found them sooner so that they could have done more of the renovation! Lubo was fantastic at quickly responding to my many detailed emails, which allowed me to have a record of everything we'd agreed. The team kept closely to schedule, but when certain tasks required more attention, they took the extra time to make sure they were done perfectly. I was consulted about every decision, even if it meant phoning me during the day, so there were never any surprises when I got home from work. A small number of additional works we couldn't have anticipated in advance were quoted at very reasonable prices. All tiny snags were addressed instantly and without complaint. The final product was a bathroom almost ridiculously perfect in every detail. Their workmanship held up flawlessly in the time since the renovation, and without a doubt helped me sell the flat so quickly two years later. Lubo is the very first person I will call when it's time to get started on my next project.

Lubo and his team renovated and installed a new bathroom and kitchen at our flat. They also redecorated the hallway and lounge. As someone with very little experience or knowledge building/decorating, they couldn’t have been any more patient and helpful. IIDL fitted my kitchen in January 2019 and did an excellent job. In addition to fitting the kitchen, they installed a new electrical circuit and all walls and ceiling were skimmed. Before the work started, I was given a very detailed quote, breaking down the cost of each part of the work, and I was given a timeframe for the length of the job. As much as the quality of the work (which was excellent), I appreciated being kept informed on a daily basis of what work was planned for the day, and who would be doing the work. Most days I had a daily site visit from the Lubo; on days when there was no visit I had a phone call to check that I was happy with the work so far. I appreciated the 'can do' attitude of all the workmen, and their willingness to stay until the job for the day was complete, to enable the next day's work to keep to schedule. I was consulted on any problems or queries that cropped up, and presented with alternative solutions. Everyone was unfailingly polite, and disruption was kept to a minimum.

The owner Lubo Pavlov, visited out property for the initial quote, investigated thoroughly and provided a detailed quote for all the work to be undertaken. If I could summarize all the reason why I am delighted about IDL's work: 1. Punctuality and patience - They were onsite every day, before the school run, waiting patiently while I was stressing to get the kid ready and out, before making their way in. They left every day after we had returned home (at 6pm). 2. They looked after our home. From the obvious protective sheets on the floor and stairs, to cleaning up at the end of every day. 3. Communication. Every day, I received a breakdown of what took place, and what was scheduled for the next day. 4. Preparation - I was advised early on about products I would need to purchase, which helped us move the project efficiently to completion. 5. Problem solving - All the team made recommendations where I couldn't. No expenses were made unless they were totally necessary. 6. No corners cut. The quality of work was high; where we wanted changes, there was a 'no problem, we'll do it' attitude. 7. Project Management - end to end, the owner was onsite every morning and evening, to supervise progress. And when they needed to pick up products on our behalf, they did so. 8. Always available on the phone. IDL will now work on our family bathroom and I have already asked them to quote me for a kitchen renovation and other carpentry projects in our home. I wholeheartedly recommend them, they are REALLY NICE GUYS that you feel safe having around your home. They get on with the job and stay out of your way.

We have used IDL Contractors on a house conversion into 3 flats. We have had no experience with such project in the past and it was a big challenge for us. We have to say that we have made the right choice selecting IDL as main contractor for this project. Lubo advised us on a lot of points that we were not aware of and made a lot of additional research giving us different options. There are many positives, one of the things being our very little involvement in the building process as both of us work full time. We would only do the forthright inspections and we were delighted with the progress and the quality of the works. In the gaps between out visits Lubo have kept us updated with pictures of the progress. We cannot say enough good things about Lubo. He is a guy that is very easy to deal with. He is very positive, hardworking and someone who can deal with problems. In summary, we recommend IDL as a reliable and quality builders, they exceeded our expectations and we will certainly use them again for future projects. They came within budget, on time and work was performed to a high standard.

I have used Lubo on a ‘large project’. It was a conversion of a 4 bedroom house into 3 flats. This involved major demolition works, temporary propping, a two storey and a single storey extension, major internal reconfiguration works and internal fit out. Therefore kitchens, bathrooms, floors, replastering, decorating, sound and fireproofing. There was also some hard landscaping external works including a major retaining wall and railings. Lubo was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. I always looked forward to seeing him. He is enthusiastic and hard working as were his employees. He was approachable and helpful at every opportunity. We had a couple of buildability issues and he gave the problems a lot of thought and he came up with some very good solutions. He has a very good standard of workmanship. Notably his floor and wall tiling was very good. Before his work was actually finished I pointed out a few minor imperfections. I told him not to bother re-doing anything but he insisted and did it anyway. He takes a lot of pride in his work and wants the customer to be happy. There are no negative points I can think off. I look forward to using him again.

After a consultation with several companies I decided IDL Contractors would be the company to carry out a total restoration of my 5 bedroom flat. This involved re-wiring, re-instatement of central heating system and fitting a new kitchen, bathroom and toilet. Also painting and decorating throughout, laying of carpets, detailing period fixtures etc. Lubo and his team were courteous throughout the process and there were no hidden charges! I have since used IDL Contractors to repair roof damage to another property and restoring a stable block to be used for offices. I have no problem in recommending this company to carry out a top notch job.

I contracted IDL Contractors to renovate the bathroom, lay underfloor heating and perform some electrical works in my Victorian conversion property. Having received several quotes I can guarantee that IDL Contractor were very reasonable with their pricing and at the same time delivered to a very high standard. Lubo who manages the project pays a lot of attention to detail and is someone whom you can trust with the responsibility and does not require following up. I bought an old three bed Victorian terraced house that needed a complete renovation. Due to the scale and cost of the project I am having to do it in stages. Lubo is one of the most courteous, considerate and inspirational (and humorous) builders that I have had the pleasure of working with. Lubo and his team installed an entire new kitchen to my specifications as well as a new bathroom and wooden floors throughout. I also had a new heating system installed and a complete house rewire. However, I made the rather fatal mistake of sourcing local contractors (Kent) for some aspects of the project – this was a disaster and has ended up costing me a lot more money than if I had Lubo and IDL Contractors project manage and deliver the whole of phase one. There were so many things that due to other people’s incompetence left me unhappy or tearing my hair out. Lubo always managed to pull something out of the bag and found a solution to all of these little issues. Nothing was too much trouble for him or his team. Lubo kept me fully appraised of costs with detailed breakdowns throughout the project and always knew when to consult with me on something, or whether to just do something, knowing that I would be delighted with the outcome. This is categorically one of Lubo’s biggest strengths along with his attention to detail to the point of having an entire water pipe moved and relocated so that my washing machine fitted exactly as I wanted it. I can’t praise Lubo highly enough and recommend him and IDL Contractors 100%. As money permits IDL will be back to finish the renovations. I have not provided photos with this review because the house is a bomb site at the moment due to having tried to do some things myself, unsuccessfully! I will add once cleaned up as the kitchen is an absolute triumph, thanks to Lubo, and better than I imagined it! It was an absolute pleasure having Lubo and IDL work with me on this project!

I employed IDL Contractors Ltd to install a new kitchen, and found them exceptional in delivering a quality finish, although I had uncovered a lot of additional work once my old kitchen and floor were removed. I then went on to give them more work outside of my house for which they were exemplary. I recommend them for any problem solving jobs which will be handled with great personal care and finish.

I have used Lubo (IDL contractors), on several occasions including a complete bathroom refit, to decorate a bedroom and living room, and to give the kitchen a facelift. On each occasion I've been very satisfied with the quality of the work done, the value for money, and the accuracy of the timescale given.
