Great colour advice for kitchen and living room from Jeni thank you very much

I engaged Jeni to revamp my sitting room. At the time It was too full of things I sort-of liked but it looked a mess. I wanted to make sure that I had a coherent new look without wasting money on expensive mistakes that I'd regret for twenty years to come. Jeni worked closely with me to explore my taste and lifestyle; she provided recommendations and liaised with trades and suppliers. I was so delighted with the calm, cosy space she delivered for my living room that I re-engaged her for ideas on a house in Norfolk. She's brilliant.

It is not possible for me to describe how incredible it was to work with Jeni on the interior design of my home. She has excelled in every single element of dealing with a professional: communication, execution, understanding, kindness, timeliness, organisation, collaboration...I could go on! Above all, she has created the most perfect designs for my home and delivered the realisation of the designs in a way I could never have done myself. I truly believe she is a genius. I'm not sure how she took my vague musings and came up with exactly what I was thinking but couldn't describe. The value for money for the design service is exceptional. However, the most value came for having Jeni deal with tradespeople and organise the necessary collaboration between them that I hadn't even anticipated was necessary. This was priceless, and has meant the best experience with tradespeople that I've ever had or known of! She has clearly cultivated relationships with exceptional people who want to work for her and produce their best work. I think I could write pages of praise. But in short, if you are wondering if you even need an interior designer I can tell you that you do need Jeni. No one will work harder for you or add so much value to your home project. I hope to work with Jeni for years to come (I hope she won't mind working with me again too, I wasn't that easy to deal with having watched too many Netflix property series and getting crazy ideas!). I won't include pictures as my furniture isn't in place as yet, but I promise it's fabulous ;)

Jeni was the recommendation of a friend. After living in our home for 32 years we decided to replace our kitchen. The project was daunting but Jeni was very skilled in helping us to think through all aspects of this significant project. Her attention to detail and knowledge, hugely impressive. We came in on budget and in time and are delighted with the new kitchen. Her assistance invaluable.

I am having a single storey rear extension which involved a new open plan kitchen, sitting room and a dining room. As I am the kind of person who can't tell the difference from taupe to tan, I know I must hire an ID. I was nervous because I had had an unpleasant and expensive (with nothing to show) experience with an ID - but this time I bit my lips, crossed my heart, googled "ID near me" and literally stumbled across Jeni. My biggest worry is the cost. And Jeni was upfront about her charge out rate and fees in our first Zoom. Once the subject of money had been cleared, the relationship began. Jeni's first task was to finalise my choice of kitchen units including the kitchen sink! Something that took me months to decide, she did it in 1 hour, explaining the accent colour, the materials (you don't have to pick the premium ones - yay!) etc. At the end of the kitchen appointment, I was able to place the order a week later. Jeni was thorough and responsive from start to finish. She started by asking me to create a mood board, I was skeptical at first (more homework?). But I quickly learned this approach allowed her to understand her client's taste. Jeni truly worked her magic when it comes to furnitures. Since my moneys had been sucked into the building work, I was upfront about my small furnitures budget. I don't know how she did it but she managed to create a dossier of furnitures that look and feel expensive but reasonably priced. And she will tell you which furnitures you can skimp and which you must stick to her list. I'm probably her most ignorant client whose eyes glazed when she mentioned "mist coat". So during one of her visits to my house, she brought along plastic sheet, multiple measuring tapes, rags etc and laid them on the floor so I can see the placement of all the furnitures. She prepared a sketch of all the recommended furnitures from sofa to floors down to cushions. And instead of bombarding me with hundreds of samples, she picked 2 or 3 so I am not bamboozled with too many choices, It has been a pleasure working with her. Once my cashflow is back to normal, I will get her started on my living room! Ash

We asked Jeni for an interior design for a cold, unused lounge in our Victorian house. She has done a wonderful job: first establishing what my wife an I had in mind for the room and then putting together design options. Her suggestions were all excellent and we would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Jeni to anyone looking to do a similar job. As a result of Jeni's input we now have a warm, welcoming room that acts as both a lounge and a study. She provided detailed written suggestions and costings for matching items of furniture, curtains and decoration, as well as plans for electrical power point, furniture and radiator placements. We also made use of her recommended professional electricians, carpenters and decorators. We could not have done this job without Jeni's input. Highly recommended.

We asked Jeni to provide a room consultation for our living room and as we found it so useful, we also asked for help with a bedroom. She suggested useful room arrangements that we hadn't considered and furniture options at a range of prices. Where we had been stuck with indecision, we felt able to finish redecorating with confidence. We feel that the room consultations were really good value and we've made better decisions than if we'd been left to our own devices!

Jeni is brilliant! I've hired her a number of times over the years, starting small with some blinds and paint colors for a nursery, all the way up to a recent bathroom renovation, and many things in between. The bathroom is gorgeous -- a 1920s inspired look that is serene and perfectly proportioned. Everything is so polished and at a higher standard than I would have even known to reach for. Beautiful details make it look like it was properly designed by someone who really knows what they're doing. Also, Jeni's longstanding, close relationships with suppliers meant that she was easily able to replace a mirror unit that cracked in transit with no cost to us. Highly recommend!

We found Jeni via Houzz towards the end of 2020. We hadn't used an interior designer before, but as we had a blank canvas in our new front room and dining room and a lack of creativity ourselves, we spoke to Jeni. We had a good introductory meeting, before a couple of enforced virtual meetings (due to lockdowns) as the project took shape. Jeni provided lots of ideas for us to select from, plus used her contact book to get the building work and other trades completed without any stress on our part. We are really happy with the (almost) finished product, and would gladly contact Jeni again should we decide to do any work elsewhere in the house.

Jeni has been very helpful in organising and coordinating our hall revamp. We had lovely spacious new cupboards made to measure plus new staircase spindles handrail and newel cap to top it off. Carpets and new flooring were laid. The decorating is beautiful It has certainly given it a new fresh feel and I love the colours of the rug blinds and artwork.

Jeni has been excellent. Her attention to detail is amazing and she has some great ideas. She has transformed my kitchen/lounge area. She is organised and reliable.

Jenny helped us with redecorating our dinning and living rooms. We wanted a blue/green for the walls and Jenny’s choice of colour was amazing both warm and crisp and clean looking. We get so many compliments. Jenny also helped with designing a bespoke shelving unit in our dinning room and her carpenters did a fantastic job. Due to the COVID pandemic we couldn’t finish all we wanted to do but will definitely use Jenny again and will not hesitate to recommend her.
