Manchester Based Architectural Studio With Over 20 Years of Experience
We provide Architectural Services to clients, who have a requirement to modify, upgrade or renovate an existing building or who need a new building. We can facilitate anything up to medium sized commercial buildings and through some clients we have provided Architectural Services for both small and large domestic projects. The core business is submitting Planning and Building Regulation Applications. We can also offer a full Architectural Service with PI and PL insurance up to £5M. We also offer a full Interior Design Service. We can develop the proposal with you so that you can achieve the maximum potential with your budget. We have a core team of CAD Operatives, Structural Engineers, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers and Property Agents. Through our experience over the past 20 years we have worked closely with many building contractors and can offer a full design and construction service if required. Highly recommend We've been working with Mark (MDM Designs) on our single-storey extension, and he's been fantastic from the start. He's done a great job so far, very professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. What really stands out is how helpful he is throughout the entire process. He’s always available to answer questions, offer guidance, and suggest ideas we hadn’t considered. It’s been reassuring to have someone so capable and approachable on board. Would definitely recommend Mark to anyone looking for a reliable and supportive architectural designer.

This was my first project. It involved adding a single story rear extension and re-configuration of the downstairs for my 'doer upper ' property. After speaking to several other architects I selected Mark for the job. He is down to earth and easy to work with. With his advice the design was straightforward and uses the space most effectively per requirements. He kept to promised timelines was always available for a call. The builder has found the designs easy to work with. Would highly recommend

We are planning a back and side extension to our 3 bed 1930's semi detached house. Mark was a lovely guy to work with. We asked him to be very frank with us with this being our very first extension and not knowing the terminology or processes which he always has been. He'd happily taken our ideas of what we wanted but also suggested things that could work or might be better. We're still at the planning stages at the moment but really looking forward to seeing the project come to life!

We brought Mark in on a recommendation from a friend. We had a clear idea of what we wanted and Mark took our initial ideas and made them 1000 times better. The designs he produced made a huge difference to the living space we had as a family. We have since sold the property and the feedback from the buyer was that they loved the space downstairs and the open plan, this was ultimately what we feel sold the property for us and got us a great price.

Mark prepared plans for us and guided us through the planning process for our extension. The process was iterative as we weren't sure about exactly what we wanted when we started, but after a few discussions and drawings prepared by Mark we came up with a layout and design that suited us. Mark was very good at offering practical & technical advice on issues that didn't occur to us (window size & location; roof pitches & suitability of tiles; positioning wood burners; suitability of materials). We're delighted with the outcome.

MDA Architectural Services were recommended to me via a local building firm as i needed help with plans for a new extension. MDA managed the process from initial ideas/drawings to dealing with the council/planning team etc. I'm really pleased with the level of service i received as the MDA team suggested design ideas and also came up with solutions to areas i'd not considered. I would highly recommend MDA :)

I needed a local firm to work up my outline plans into a buildable scheme. I also wanted a form to project manage the work. Both requirements were met in full by Mark and his team. The precontract meeting were successful and various ideas were discussed on the way to finalising the design. The project management on site was good and the selected contractor worked well with mark. All in all a very positive experience. I would recommend them to anyone thinking of having a domestic extensiondeeigmrd and built.

I never fail to get hold of Mark whenever I need some advice he always returns phone calls and always has alternative ideas which often have far more value than our suggestion. Fair pricing as well I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mark to anyone.

When looking for an architect MDA Architectural Services Ltd came recommended by a friend. From the beginning they were completely professional and all the staff who I had contact with couldn't be more helpful. From the original drawings to the final plans the team were happy to make any changes I requested. When looking for a builder to complete my extension, everyone commented on the quality of the drawings and the detail within. For me that says it all when fellow professionals comment on the quality of work. I'd happily use and recommend MDA Architectural Services Ltd to anyone.
