Mioko and Lucy make a fantastic team and have delivered beyond our expectation on our kitchen. They understood the space and limitations and designed something that works well for us and looks truly magnificent. The attention to detail and support throughout the project was much appreciate.

We love our beautiful new kitchen. Mioko and her team did a fantastic job: it was a well managed process, the team is reactive and creative. Mioko is highly professional. She has clever and creative ideas and designs and was very accommodating when we wanted to make adjustments along the way. The kitchen fitter, Nerus, is also great to work with. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better team to bring our kitchen project to life.

Mioko and Lucy at Kitchen Bee are just fantastic. From the moment I started to chat with them, I knew I was in safe hands. Mioko really took time to understand my needs, how we live. She maximalised space in our relatively small kitchen and the finished design is perfectly compact and luxurious feeling. Her expertise around which appliances and systems will suit was so helpful, and the kitchen I have is so beyond what I had dreamed I could have. She embraced my creative input on the design. She was conscious of my budget, always clear on costings, and the fitters she works with were first rate and so lovely. She worked really well with my builder and architect and is extremely organised and responsive, making sure everything was ordered in advance and in liaison with how the build was progressing. I always felt in safe hands and the kitchen design was such a fun aspect of my build. She’s incredibly thoughtful and responsive and calm which helps so much when you’re going through the stresses of renovation. She really cares about how you’ll use your kitchen and brought to my attention ideas I’d never have been able to put together myself - built in spice racks,, storage around seating, hooks in places I didn’t know I needed them…the pull out storage solution she put in is genius and so pleasing to use! I love my kitchen so much and that is all down to Mioko’s design and the way the project was managed. After completion she is on hand to refine anything once we moved back in, and I just really enjoyed having her round. She takes the stress away so you can just get excited about the kitchen. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

We worked with Mioko and her extended team of designers and builders on a large project to re-build and remodel our kitchen in Ealing. From start to finish the experience was beyond what we could have hoped for. Mioko has an exceptional sense of what is possible with a space and brought a wealth of ideas and options as we worked on the design and the selection of the materials. The wider team that Mioko brought to the project were exceptional and worked through the construction with professionalism and efficiency. The timeline that was committed at the outset was accurate and we had a lot of time with the head builder who spent a great deal of time onsite with us. When it came to small snagging issues there were no delay in completing the final touches and Mioko even pointed out some things we hadn't noticed! I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Mioko for any project, we had a flawless experience with Kitchen Bee Design.

Renovating a kitchen is such a leap of faith. We got lucky when we decided to engage Kitchen Bee Design. Mioko and her colleague Lucy were simply fantastic. They both helped us realise our vision despite the awkward space. The quality of the kitchen units that Kitchen Bee supplied is exceptional. We are so relieved it worked out so well. We love our kitchen.

Mioko and Lucy were amazing from start to finish. They were practical, organised and had great ideas. They pushed me very slightly out of my comfort zone, which I liked, and we ended up with a great design and a beautiful finished kitchen. They were endlessly patient with my changes of mind & indecision and incredibly easy to work with. The whole experience was really painless and I was expecting it to be so much harder. Their back office efficiency and constant communication helps make everything smooth. I would definitely recommend 100%.

Mioko (and Lucy) are incredibly thoughtful and detail-oriented in the design process. With complete kitchen design novices like us, they were patient and helped expose us to different design options and considerations we might like. As well as trying to balance a desire for something fairly luxurious with the practical considerations like durability that arise for a young family with small children. They were very good at offering a view but letting us decide - and we probably always ended up landing with their recommendation. We fell in love with natural stone thanks to Mioko, and it completely influenced our design. The service was very personal - even giving us a ride to the stone yard to choose slabs! It was never too much to visit a showroom together or pivot slightly on design. Her fitters and recommended builders were great, too. We couldn't be happier with our new kitchen and would recommend Kitchen Bee without question.

I don't say this often, but Mioko and her team are outstanding. I am far from an easy customer, and Mioko exhibited patience and creativity throughout the process. We ended up going down one direction and then completely transforming to another. They could not have been more different. Mioko was able to deliver exactly what we wanted and the results are tremendous. So beautiful, and everything we wanted. I could not recommend more highly.

We are incredibly impressed with the result that Mioko and Lucy of Kitchen Bee delivered for us. Because of the odd geometry of the kitchen space, using a high street kitchen company wasn’t an option for us, so I googled “bespoke kitchen designer” and I stumbled upon Kitchen Bee. What a great discovery!! As soon as we started to engage with Mioko, I knew I had chosen the right person to create my dream kitchen. From the initial consultation to the final installation, she was always available to answer my questions and address my concerns. She took the time to understand my vision and offered valuable suggestions to help me achieve the perfect kitchen. Her attention to detail was impeccable, and she ensured that every aspect of the design was executed to perfection. The end result is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Not only was she highly professional and knowledgeable, but she also had a warm and friendly demeanour that made the entire process enjoyable. We even had some “fun visits” to showrooms. I felt like I was working with a trusted friend who had my best interests at heart. Her positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile made all the difference. She has a close relationship with a highly skilled joinery company. The design and craftsmanship of the cabinets are simply exceptional. The attention to detail is evident in every corner, from the smooth finish to the seamless integration of appliances. I've already received compliments from friends and family, and I can't wait to spend countless hours cooking and entertaining in this beautiful kitchen. Our old kitchen was just getting too old. We did not want to throw it all in a skip and order a new one but most installers wanted to do just that. We have magnificent granite worksurface which had cracked at one end. It would have environmentally wrong just to throw it out and replace it. Also, most of the appliances were still working well and again we didn't want to get rid of everything. Mioko was actually pleased to accept the challenge of renewing our kitchen while minimising the waste. She was able to find clever ways to uplift the space and add new features and upgrade the old ones. We got rid of some things through Trashnothing.com knowing they would continue to be used. Our kitchen is now a spectacular cathedral for food and living. It is a beautiful space to be in, and a wonderful space to work in. We even have a chaise longue where we can rest while waiting for the meal to be ready. And we still have our magnificent granite worktop, our bespoke stainless steel sinks, the lighting has be added to and improved, our old cupboards are deeper and the new ones hold so much. Mioko has the vision to renew and reinvigorate a kitchen not just replace it.

Working with Mioko was such a lovely experience. She has impeccable taste and elegant inspirational ideas and makes sure she works with you to create the kitchen you love. She was always on hand to answer questions, problem solve or go shopping to road test bar stools. Her attention to detail and finishing was forensic and most importantly, she was always a calm, reassuring presence in the midst of all the building chaos. We love our new kitchen, we loved working with her and her team. If we ever do this again, we would not hesitate to go back to Kitchen Bee.

The entire process was well managed and it was such a joy to go through the process with her.
