We contacted Peter on the recommendation of two sets of friends who were very happy with Inscope’s refurbishments to their homes. Peter has infinite patience and knowledge, listened to our brief, changing and adapting plans and suggesting improvements we hadn’t even thought of! He has a great eye for detail. Peter’s quotation was detailed and we always felt we could contact Peter and he would respond quickly, we were informed of the progress during the build whilst we were away. All the teams ( kitchen fitters, flooring, plumbing, gas,electricians and drainage)were excellent, a special shout out to the brilliance of Tom and Steve. We would certainly recommend Inscope and use them again.

I contracted Inscope to do a complete refurbishment of a two roundel Oast House. From the start of the project to the end they provided a first rate service. There was great attention to detail and communication was excellent. Peter Leach has a wealth of experience and the teams/trades he utilises are all of the highest standard. I have used various builders over a number of years. All of them started well but as the projects neared completion their enthusiasm and commitment would wane. This did not happen with Inscope and I will certainly use them in the future.

After significant research, including take up three references provided by Inscope and one reference discovered independently of Inscope, we decided to use Inscope Management to build a significant extension, including the decorating and furnishing of all aspects apart from the blinds. Peter Leach was our main contact for Inscope Management. He was tireless in looking to understand our needs and wants. He came up with designs (including re-designs!) with a view to providing us with our long term dream build. We went back and forth several times, with Peter liaising with our architect as well as Building Control. Peter took the heat off us as our ‘one person stop’. Peter fronted the teams who came to do the work and at no time did he step back. He was prepared to own and take responsibility for all aspects of the build. His own teams and those he used for some of the build were exemplary in their behaviour, their time-keeping and the quality of their work. Where we had an issue (which was only twice in a 5 month project), Peter owned the process of finding the solution. We found Peter and all the workmen he used as totally trustworthy. Peter was also very happy to interface with workmen that we employed to do other elements of work, e.g. provision and installation of the kitchen blinds. From a cost perspective, Inscope was not the cheapest of the estimates that we received. However, Inscope provided an item by item breakdown of the work to be done which allowed us to follow progress very effectively. And to be honest we found that ‘you get what you pay for’. Peter kept a very close eye on variations both in terms of extras and work not needed/removed from scope. It was all up front. In summary, we were extremely happy with the build. (We spent more than we originally intended, but that was because we saw opportunities and increased the scope.) The best accolade that we can give is that as the extension build was coming to an end we asked Inscope to offer an estimate to refurbish a bathroom and cloakroom. We need say no more.

Peter and his team have been exemplary from start to finish carrying out our kitchen renovation. Communication, which seems to be sorely lacking in the building trade, has been top notch throughout. All aspects of the works were carried out efficiently, and where problems occurred (which I must add were not the fault of Inscope), these were rectified as quickly as possible. The fit and finish is just brilliant. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Inscope, and look forward to them working on our property again in the future.

We had a fantastic experience with Peter and the whole of the Inscope team. We were having significant structural work done to part of our 18th century Grade II listed home, and some modern upgrades, and the whole project was handled extremely professionally. Peter organised all aspects of the works for us (including planning permission, structural engineer, interior designer and all onsite trades), kept us up to date on budget and progress, and had loads of great ideas along the way. All the work was done to a high standard, and the team were all very pleasant to deal with and considerate in our home, turned up exactly when they said they would, and were very patient with our unfriendly dog. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Peter and his team helped us with transforming 2 of our bedrooms. Demolishing built in wardrobes and creating a fake wall between 2 rooms, plus putting a beam and isolating an external wall. They’ve done a fantastic job in a very short space of time. Peter was very clear on the pricing and timing of the project and his team was amazing. Even extra jobs we decided to do were no issue. They gave us all the tips for decorating too. We just wish we’ve had a bigger budget to use this company and this team to refurbish the whole house!! Thank you so much.

Peter and his team helped us to realise a truly fantastic transformation of our kitchen. The project involved totally rethinking the original kitchen layout in order to create a more modern and functional space in a Victorian house. From the initial meeting through to the end of the project Peter was highly professional, courteous, very well organised and extremely helpful. Peter and his team of highly skilled professionals, did an excellent job of completely refurbishing our kitchen. The original kitchen was in need of a lot of work. Peter was professional, highly organised, informative and pleasant throughout. His estimate was very detailed, which meant costs were well understood from the outset, with only one change necessary when an additional problem was uncovered as the work progressed. We now have a beautiful modern kitchen which has been thoroughly and painstakingly renovated. Tom (Peter’s son) and the team have the necessary skill and attention to detail to achieve a high quality finish and an end result to be proud of. We are very pleased with our new kitchen and would definitely recommend Inscope.

A very reliable company led by Peter Leach who take a personal interest in projects. He came every working day to supervise the extension and roofing work on my house, and on two occasions he adjusted work himself. Always polite and never flustered.

We employed Peter and his team for a bathroom refurbishment and a kitchen dinner redesign and have been delighted with the results. Peter spent a lot of time with us on the scope prior to commencing the build and suggested alternative layouts to maximise the use of the space, all of which we gladly incorporated into the final works. One of the aspects that we greatly appreciated from Peter was the detailed cost breakdowns that he provided for all works, including provisional items for consideration, which allowed us to remain on budget throughout the build and have a high confidence in our outturn costs. The teams on site were excellent and we couldn't recommend them higher. During these difficult times where we were working from home on top of homeschooling they were discreet, punctual, consultative, friendly, tidy and worked around our arrangements whenever they could. My 6yo daughter is already missing them! While Peter was not the cheapest of contractors, we would not hesitate to use them again as I believe they absolutely deliver value for money and we are really pleased with the finished works.

From the initial design to subsequent planning and implementation the project was extremely well organised. A detailed budget and schedule were developed and met. The skills and knowledge of the workforce was excellent and the whole team produced a finish which surpassed our expectations.
