We met Craig in September 2021 and spent a good few weeks planning our kitchen with him. We went through multiple ideas and designs with Craig giving his input but always leaving the final decisions to us. Craig was very patient throughout this process, even though we came full circle on some ideas. We found him to be very professional and responsive even if we contacted him out of hours. We eventually settled on a design that made the kitchen flow a lot better as well as improving the aesthetics. Work started in November and he was very mindful of the fact we have two young children and left us a working kitchen for as long as possible. We found him to be a very skilled and diligent worker. He is a perfectionist and corrected his work if he was not happy with it, even if we did not notice. He did most of the work himself but was occasionally helped by colleagues. Craig was always helpful and happy to go out of his way for us and was very calm even when our children were interrupting his work! He has since come back to do a few other smaller jobs for us too. We are so pleased with the finished result and are thoroughly enjoying using our new kitchen. It has become the heart of our home.

Simply the best trades man I have ever used My kitchen is now over a year since it was installed. Craig is such a lovely person and hard working. He installed my water softner and put in extra sockets in the kitchen which is great and after installation I had a slight problem I called him and he came and fixed it. I would definitely recommend him to every one who wants the kitchen installed

Craig responded to our initial request for prospective companies to quote to supply and fit replacements for our major kitchen units, and agreed to meet with us in mid-July 2021 to discuss our requirements. In conjunction with Craig’s suggestions, we accepted his quotation. We mutually agreed that work would not proceed until at least October, partly as we were awaiting quotes to have the kitchen ceiling re-plastered before work could commence. Equipment items were re-confirmed with Craig who placed orders in mid-October 2021, and it was agreed that work on the re-fit would commence on November 1st. The former units, including the sink, were removed. Following agreement with the electrician who had previously certified the safety of all house electrical installations, Craig undertook substantial electrical re-wiring as required for the new equipment being installed in different parts of the kitchen. By the end of the week new work tops, sink unit and integral tap, a free-standing hob with replacement extractor, separate oven with warming drawer, a new microwave, and a new tall refrigerator, had been installed within existing and new units. Damage caused before delivery (3 times!!) to the front matching panel for the tall refrigerator meant a delay in final fitting of this unit until later in December. At the end of week one it was clear that the new area of the kitchen would benefit from replacement of the existing tiling. Craig offered to do this and, in an additional accepted quote, included for replacement of a few of the existing unit front/side panels that did not match exactly the colour of the new units/panels now installed. We ordered new tiles, collected on 22nd November, and Craig had largely completed fitting these by late November. At this point Craig notified us that members of his family had Covid and he would need to isolate and would therefore be unable to come and complete a few remaining items including finishing the tiling surrounds, and installing replacement unit doors and refrigerator panel. Craig kept us fully aware of his situation and kindly agreed to come on Sunday the 19th December to complete the work. Throughout the extended period Craig kept us fully informed of progress and sought our approval for solutions for additional and unexpected difficulties. These related to fitting new equipment into the existing building built in the 1950’s and within an extension built in the late 1980’s. Craig coped with these confidently. His promptness in arriving at agreed times and working long hours to complete each day’s work was much appreciated. Finally, we are very pleased with the final re-fit, which more than matches his original suggested design, the quality of equipment originally proposed, and has been good value for the quotations we received and accepted. We would very willingly recommend Craig to other prospective clients.

Craig was always friendly and helpful despite my changing my mind several times on what I wanted. The finished kitchen is fantastic with a new layout which works beautifully. I would thoroughly recommend this company to anyone planning on having a new kitchen.

Craig was 1st class all round with the design & installation of our new kitchen & bathroom. Great quality of workmanship and attention to detail. Nothing was any trouble and the whole process was a pleasure right from the start with the initial discussions and design development, right through to the finishing touches at the end. Plan B Kitchens came highly recommended by the builder for our kitchen/diner extension, and we struck gold - they were a great choice. The job wasn't straightforward, due to the Edwardian knack for building every wall with a slight angle to it, the addition of a utility room, wet underfloor heating and full rewiring/plumbing. And working through the COVID-19 pandemic to June 2021. From the off, the company owner Craig was personable and organised, came round to carry out a measured survey and took some ideas on what we were looking for - this was roughly five months before we broke through the old external wall into the new extension. We went through several iterations of design, leading to a visit to his showroom which gave us a new set of ideas and a true impression of the finish and cabinet options we were looking for. Craig helped work within a budget, using his contacts and purchasing power to obtain discounts on appliances & stone worktops that larger companies probably wouldn't even consider. By April 2021 the quote, design and spec were all agreed & the space was stripped back ready for installation. The delivery, installation and commissioning went very smoothly, again due to good planning and reliability on Plan B's part. They needed to liaise with our sparky and the plumbers on many occasions, and despite the obvious problems that occur (e.g. a pipe being in the wrong place) they were patient and sorted it out with minimum fuss. All in all we now have the ideal kitchen and family space for our combined needs, with several additional features (for a very reasonable price) that we hadn't thought of when we first sketched out what we wanted. The finish is impeccable and we've had no problems with any of the appliances, cabinets, fixtures & fittings since completion. Craig is a lovely guy to work with, and I wouldn't hesitate to engage Plan B Kitchens again.

Craig has been brilliant from planning to installation taking our budget and design ideas on board and giving us advice and support so we could achieve it. As he makes up the bespoke units from various suppliers, he was able to offer exactly what we wanted. He has access to a huge showroom which he fitted out. He arranged to meet up with us there, which gave us the opportunity to see the quality of the products he uses and we could see the high standard of workmanship both he and his colleague provides. He has been quick to respond to our questions all the way from planning to the final installation and has been really helpful in getting samples of door fronts, worktops and flooring which he left on site for us to make our choices. He also gave us ideas on lighting of the units and mood lighting for the plinths and breakfast bar. He spent time with us and was patient with us making changing along the way before reaching our final layout. Once our decision was agreed he provided us with our design layout plans. He kept us informed of delivery and planned installtion dates which he stuck to. During installation he arrived on time and was a clean and tidy worker. We are so pleased with the final result and attention to detail, We had been to 3 of the major kitchen suppliers before meeting Craig and are so pleased that we chose him instead. We are happy to recommend him .

PlanB kitchens were recommended to me through a friend who used Craig to install the kitchen for their new home and it is a real show stopper! I was very nervous about renewing my kitchen as I had heard lots of horror stories about projects going wrong and tradespeople not turning up leaving projects incomplete - I was also very disappointed in the range of kitchens from mainstream suppliers. I needed someone that could design, supply and fit as well as carry out the decoration and electrics and lighting - a one stop shop. Craig fitted that description perfectly Craig came out for a "site visit" and took time with me discussing what I was looking for and making recommendations to me for ideas that hadn't even occurred to me that I could have - he designed a modern and functional space which incorporated everything I needed. The range of kitchens he works with range from modern to the traditional and are of high quality manufacturing. Once everything was finalised the project started and Craig worked with one other on the job - both were a delight to have in my home - they were chatty, polite and respectful of me having lots of cats around which presented challenges on it's own but the guys were really good with them. They were both clean and tidy and worked to a high standard. My kitchen is now complete and looks amazing - the standard of workmanship is high, and Craig has managed to make the space look twice the size. Thank you Craig

Craig designed and fitted our kitchen and I am so pleased I found him and decided to go ahead. The quality of the kitchen is excellent, the service he provided was also amazing putting up with all my additional requests along the way and nothing was too much trouble. We did a bit of shopping around and costing with a couple of companies but his value is outstanding for the quality of product and service you get. I would not hesitate to use Craig again or recommend him to anyone looking for their dream kitchen! Very happy

Craig spent enormous amount of time meeting us to get design right including at the design centre and our house. There was no rush. He came on site to check progress whilst the builders organised the structural work. He gave advice, contacts and suggestions constantly. Spending time to pop over and chat.
