I have been working with Joshua at The Finn’s Group for over a year on our single storey rear extension and garage conversion, and the experience has been exceptional from start to finish. From our very first conversation, it was clear that Joshua operates at a different level. He introduced us to his architect who supported with the drawings, guided us through the planning permission process with real expertise, and made himself available for regular calls to ensure every detail aligned with what we wanted. At no point did anything feel rushed or overlooked. What really sets him apart is his ability to take ownership and execute quickly. As part of our planning conditions, we needed to reinstate part of the front garden. Joshua handled everything. Within a matter of days he had arranged a landscaper, organised delivery of topsoil and turf, and had the work completed in a single day. It was seamless and removed a huge amount of pressure from us. He has also connected us with high quality suppliers, including kitchen companies, which has been incredibly helpful in pulling everything together as we come closer towards the beginning of the build phase. Overall, The Finn’s Group have been professional, proactive and extremely reliable. They brings a level of care and attention that is rare in this space. We recently used Finns Group, led by Josh, to refurbish our bathroom, and we are extremely pleased with both the quality of the work and the professionalism of the team. From the outset, the customer service was excellent, Josh was always prompt to meetings and very patient with our questions. Josh supported us in choosing the tiles and furniture that we wanted, as well as in the delivery process. Some of the materials were heavy and difficult to manage, yet within an hour of delivery, Josh arranged for a colleague to assist with moving them inside. The completed bathroom was immaculate, with an excellent standard of workmanship. We initially had an issue with the drainage of the new bath trap, upon raising this with Finns Group, they responded professionally, acknowledging the issue and offering solutions. Once we agreed on the best course of action, they returned to resolve the issue. We were impressed by this commitment to aftercare and making every detail is correct, not simply finishing the job and moving on.

I initially hired Finns Group, led by Josh, to redesign my front garden with both hard and soft landscaping. The work was outstanding, so much so that when I needed a bigger project done, I didn’t hesitate to call Josh again. This time, they completed a single-story rear extension with new kitchen, transformed the entire rear garden (including a BBQ area, outdoor TV space, and firepit), and converted the garage into a gym. Josh and his team were fantastic throughout the entire process. Josh himself is incredibly friendly, and the quality of their work, especially the final finish, is exceptional. The team was polite, professional, and always made sure to clean up every day, which I really appreciated. What sets Josh apart is his dedication even after the job is done. He still checks in from time to time and has even come over to touch up a few things to ensure everything remains perfect.
