Chicoco Decorating & Property Care

We wanted the exterior of our property redecorated in a different colour. Wayne came to view our property and within a couple of days provided a detailed quote. We had three quotes and whilst Chicoco weren't the cheapest, their communication at this stage was superb. They did exactly what they said they'd do - turned up at 8am, worked all day and finished the job in the quoted timescale. We weren't at the property and returned from a holiday to a freshly painted house. After a few months, the paint started bubbling and peeling on many different areas of the house. Chicoco returned to scrape the areas and repaint, with their foreman diagnosing the issue as the walls being a bit damp when they initially painted them. A few months after the repainting, bubbling returned in many other areas and there are dark patches from their previous attempt at rectifying their work. They stated that they would return and rectify the works initially but then went quiet. In over 6 months of trying to bring the matter to an amicable solution they have been elusive, non communicative and shown no interest in rectifying their work, so we have needed to instruct another company to paint the house properly. We have no faith in them paying the cost of this work, so a recovery process seems inevitable.

Wayne was quick to respond to me enquiry, provided a very reasonable quote for what I was after and has completed the work to a very high standard. I am really happy with my new hall and can’t recommend him enough! Thanks Wayne!

Wayne is highly recommended. I found him via the Houzz site after being let down by another painter. He responded within 24 hours, came out look at the job within 2 days and gave me a quote on the spot. As I advised we could be flexible he said he may be able to fit us in if an exterior job was rained off. One of the few times that I was grateful for rain - job completed. Wayne was friendly, on time, trustworthy and professional. He covered everything before starting and did a fabulous job within budget. Highly recommended- I will be using him again.

Very happy with the results, from the first contact to end of the work there was good communication. Reliable time keeping and they did far more than expected, including a few repairs to make the finished job look better but at no extra charge, the price quoted was the price paid and the work is a really high standard. Will definitely use again and happy to recommend.

Really good, took care of everything with good attention to detail and nothing too much trouble. All of the outside of the house painted, patio pressure washed and a few small repairs, took them a little longer than expected but the price remained the same!! Super job, very happy to leave this review
