Lis did a wonderful job of designing our garden. She listened to what we needed and created a wonderful garden with a bbq area, a gym and sauna area, a dining patio and a wonderful planting design that shows interest throughout the year. It's a truly wonderful addition to our home and we love entertaining out there

I was so grateful that Lis was open to working on the project as she was so busy on projects and I could not have hoped for more. She combined detailed plant knowledge - not a given in garden design as I learnt - with a savvy approach to low maintenance and environmental design. She has a wonderful eye for the potential of the space, understood and interpreted my brief perfectly. Her team is charming and experienced and I am absolutely delighted with the result.

From a neglected and barely used space, thanks to Lis we now have a really lovely and welcoming garden to use as a family that works as the perfect breakout space from the kitchen. The planting is lush and barely needs any upkeep whilst the rest of the design is considered and flows with our new interiors. I’m an alternative therapist working from home and Lis created a little sanctuary for me and my family. Lush planting, a design that matched our newly renovated home and a layout allowing for a bbq, dining and lounge area surrounded by fragrant and medicinal plants. I renovated my flat several years ago but had left the garden as it was, it’s a relatively small area that the previous owners hadn’t done much with and as a result was a space I rarely used. A combination of covid / lockdown and getting a dog made me think about the possibility of making better use of my garden but I wasn’t sure where to begin so I contacted Lis. Lis came highly recommended and after our initial meeting she created a concept that was easy to understand, it addressed the issues of the existing garden and the wish list of things I wanted to include, adding some smart design details along the way. With her clever approach Lis managed to squeeze in space for my BGE BBQ and a storage bench, long and wide enough to lie on and enjoy the sun! Lis also produced a creatively devised shed between the two large trees at the bottom of the garden, which doubles as a hidden exit at the back of the garden (I’m really happy with how this turned out as it was wasted space before). The combination of the fencing and paving looks great and somehow creates a feeling of space in what is relatively small garden. The planting also looks fantastic all year round, it very dog resistant and easy to care for as promised! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lis; she’s been great throughout the whole process from the initial concept to the end design as well as liaising directly with the landscapers and taking care of the planting. I now have a garden that I love and I’m very proud of, thank you Lis!

We reached out to Lis Eriksson to completely redesign and re-landscape our 3.6 acre garden in West Sussex. Looking for somebody that could translate our vision for the grounds and the unique property that it houses. The existing garden felt very alien to the house in an English cottage garden style whilst our house is a mid century modern remodel. We gave her a large complex brief including building a terrace (300sqm in the end) including a space for dining and cooking, a sundeck, large seating area with a fire pit, a wood fired hot tub, herb garden and additional gardens connecting the adjoining annex space of the house. Alongside 2 x 100sqm plus borders, planting 60 specimen trees an extended meadow and a nuttery. Not only did Lis produce beautiful visuals alongside her master and planting plans, but also helped us source materials, furniture etc. during covid. Managing numerous supply issues, still able to get each phase of the project completed with her flexible approach, attention to detail and in-depth design and architecture know how. All whilst providing a professional service and clear communication throughout. We are just about to embark on adding a pool to the garden which we now very much enjoy and look forward to working with Lis again.
