Marí and team were absolutely incredible from start to finish. I found Blank Canvas Creative on Houzz and reached out over email – Marí responded almost immediately to set up an introductory call, and from there things took off. My scope was design and project management / implementation for a modern two bedroom flat (excluding bathrooms) in central London. Marí and Beatrice took my vision of a warm, cosy resort-style theme and executed it flawlessly and within my budget! Marí has an excellent eye for design (and lovely pieces of furniture/art) but is also able to issue-spot expertly in terms of practical matters – she noticed and corrected lots of little things which now make living in the flat much more convenient (bigger bins, sun-reflective blinds etc). The contractors, managed by Marí, are also a sound, trustworthy bunch who I always felt comfortable with working in my flat, even when I was not around. They worked around my needs (as I lived in the flat as the works were ongoing), moving my bare necessities from room to room as they worked, they understood the limitations of the space, and were respectful of building/management approvals. I’ve always heard horror stories around home refurbishment and am quite pleased to say I had an easy time of it with Marí and team. I’m so happy with how things turned out and would not hesitate to recommend Blank Canvas Creative to anyone I know.

Blank Canvas Creative have been incredible from start to finish. It was really important to me to have a team who took the time to get to know me, our lifestyle and the house which is why I was delighted that Mari came to the house to get a feel for us a family and how we currently live. The designs were carefully though out and it was clear she had taken inspiration from things we already had in our home, making it feel really personal. I was given a few options initially and then we worked though the things I didn't and didn't like to gradually pull together the final design. Mari took into consideration our budget and came up with creative solutions to ensure we could use the budget on things that would make a big impact and save in other areas. The journey have been pain free and what we now have far exceeds my expectations or anything I could have come up with myself, we are looking forward to using Blank Canvas Creative for other areas in our house.

Mari and her team did an amazing job on our kitchen renovation. It was our first time working on a project like this and we really needed the support and advice we got from wonderful Mari! She supported the project from start to finish from initial design to the project management and all the finer details in between. Nothing was ever too much no matter what time of day ( or night!). Mari is the designer you need in your life. Mari provides designs that are elegant, gorgeous and always practical, tailored to how you use the space. Her obsessive attention to detail is what makes the end results so special. Mari is somehow able to know you and what you like better than you know yourself; she makes sure the design is everything that you asked for, reflects your style, personality and works for you. Mari has helped to make our house magical, we get so many compliments, which is lovely, but more importantly its so us, our home, and we love it! Highly recommended

Mari did a very good job interpreting my needs for a garage to home office conversion. She provided good advice and a technical specification as well as a practical design that suits my specific needs. The end result is a modern stylish office space with ample storage and flexibility. After the garage conversion Marí and her team also helped us with the layout and colour choices for the rest of our home and the plans for our extension. We have been working with Marí for about a year and trust her design skills and advice.

We have been working with Mari and her team for the last year for our full renovation and I honestly could not thank her enough. She helped us navigate the trickiest challenges with contractors and suppliers and went above and beyond throughout the project. During the concept phase, she came up with extremely smart ideas to make the most of our space. She has a sharp eye, is very patient, and really listens to her client's preferences. My project was a two story rear extension and complete renovation of the existing property. Mari at Blank Canvas has supported me through the whole process of renovation, from design ideas, drawings, planning permission and even helping me with finding a contractor to do the work. She offered her recommendations and advice on topics such as structural engineers and best ways to keep to a budget. I would highly recommend her and I would certainly work with her again in the future.

I found Marí (Blank Canvass) to be extremely helpful when discussing possible kitchen refurbishment on a strict budget. She provided a good range of samples from which I could make my selections, and offered advice to make sure I was comfortable with the choices I made. Marí was contactable if I had any concerns at all and very easy to talk to. Her team worked well and were very professional. I felt very impressed with her knowledge of all work involved and the way she handled her "team", and I am delighted with the final result. Marí and her team successfully completed the refurbishment work of our laundry/ wet room. I found Marí to be very knowledgable, professional and trustworthy. She was also willing to be hands-on and made sure that we were happy with everything.

Marí is just brilliant! Creative, innovative, practical and (oh so) patient. She completely understood what I wanted to achieve in our living room even though I wasn't sure myself! Throughout the refurb of our very outdated 1930s semi-detached front living room she provided me with the space to make my own choices but also helped me to narrow things down when I felt overwhelmed. She was never too busy to offer advice when I needed it and gave me the courage to be bold with my choices whilst still staying true to my own sense of style. (Something I thought I’d never find again after having children!) Her wealth of expertise in building construction, architecture and design as well as her never ending list of contacts made working with her a pleasure... And what a joy it is to look forward to sitting in my living room again! Thank you Marí!

Marí was a delight to work with on my project. The project was a large rebuild & refurb of a 60’s modernist property with new extension being built & garden landscaped. Marí managed to not only bring the house back to life but update the look of the house and now feels as though it was built yesterday, rather than fifty years ago! Marí’s eye for technical detail (overseeing pouring of at least 50 tones of concrete & construction of new retaining walls) was second to non, coupling that with an eye for design flair (finding colour schemes, room planning and furniture procurement) and bold choices with materials used (lots of Glass including 2.5x8 meter window, tied exterior cladding & ICF blocks for building the extension) has resulted in a home far beyond what I had originally hoped for. She had made the impossible look easy!
