But how do you know which quote is your best quote? and what if you don’t have time to run around having time consuming meetings, with no guarantee that your local showroom has the products you need or the capability to create your dream design? That’s where Narrow Lane Design can help you… Our Design Process can be summed up in 3 simple steps… 1. The first step is a free of charge meeting which takes place in your home. One of the biggest advantages is that we have no opening hours to adhere to, so we can visit you completely at your convenience. During the consultation our designer will carry out a detailed survey, bring samples, examples of past projects and product catalogues to help build a brief for your project and work out a realistic budget. This is your opportunity to find out if we are the right supplier for you and if not… there’s no obligation to continue. The appointment will generally last a maximum of 2 hours and by the end you should have a clear idea of the layout as well as what products are available. Consultations can be booked on our website. 2. Presentation of Designs & Quotations - At this stage you will get to see your design come to life as 3D rendered images. We will discuss the layout and recommended products, and we can even make any changes you want to see right then and there. By now we will have assembled prices from numerous specialist suppliers from nationwide, to offer you your comparison quotes… and you still haven’t had to leave your house! Each section of your quote will have an impartial rating to show you which products are the best quality, which offer the best value for money as well as details on the lead times. Installation and project management - Once all of the details are finalised it is time to order your products and book in your installation start date. We will be on hand to manage the whole process and can organise any installation services from structural and preparation works to finishing touches like painting and decorating.
