Ben provided an excellent service from start to finish. He was helpful and considerate throughout the project, and was very transparent about costs. The whole project went smoothly and was completed on time. Martin, who worked on site, did a fantastic job and has great attention to detail. Couldn’t be happier, would highly recommend.

HI Megan

It's great to hear that you were happy with our service and the project we carried out for you.

Thank you again for your business and thank you for the lovely review , we really appreciate it.

Would highly recommend Crown Point Builders. Not only did they complete the job to a high standard and quicker than I expected. But whilst discussing the project, they informed me of several options that had never occurred to me.

Ben and his team (led onsite by Thiago) removed an old back boiler from a fireplace for me, boarded off the chimney, and put a new combi boiler in the kitchen. They also redecorated several rooms, including some plasterwork, laid some vinyl flooring and turned the old water tank cupboard into a more useful storage area. I found them to be very flexible, accommodating several changes to scope, and for the later "scope creep" tasks they managed to fit me in while they worked on a bigger job nearby. The work was done to a high standard, although inevitably there was some snagging to be done at the end. As intended, once the work was completed I put the flat up for sale, and the potential buyers were very impressed, so that I had agreed a sale within 10 days. I hadn't ever done any works on the flat before (other than my own DIY), so the assistance of Ben and Thiago to guide me through it was much appreciated.

We have used Crown Point Builders to help us with a number of building jobs over the years and always found them to be professional, reliable and produce work to a high standard. Most recently, and at very short notice from our side, they built an indoor partition wall for us in our flat which we rent out, to ensure we meet landlord HMO requirments. They did this to a high standard and sent us daily photographs of the work to keep us updated. They were very considerate in inconveniencing our tenants as little as possible. Ben, who runs the company, is also a great communicator and is open to making necessary changes (which inevitably always happen) as a job progresses. Thank you Ben and team. Can't recommend you enough!

Comment from Crown point Builders Ltd:

Thank you for leaving such a nice review.

It was a pleasure to have been able to help you bring your rental flat up to spec in time for the new HMO Regs deadline.

Thank you again for your repeat business over the years.

Crown Point Builders completed a bathroom renovation at my property and I am delighted with the outcome. I was expecting the work to be completed on time and on budget and this did happen but where they exceeded my expectations was with the attention to detail of both Ben the business owner and Martin the builder/fitter. The biggest compliment I can pay them, is that they treated the project as if they were working on their own properties. They were thorough, helpful and available. Their skill at completing the job, in terms of building and decorating, was high quality but it was the attention to small detail that took their work and finished job from good to great. Add to that to very strong communication skills and it was an all round excellent service that I won't hesitate to recommend.

Refurbishment of occupied flat, work was well organised by Ben and carried out to a very high standard by Thiago and his team. The property was left clean and tidy at the end of each day and we kept updated by Thiago throughout the project. We are very pleased with the results and would definitely use Crown builders again.

We have a small nursery setting and we contacted Crown point Builders Ltd to see if they could do the roof in the extension. The work had to be done outside working hours, as we are busy with the children everyday of the work week. Ben immediately organized the work to be done during the week the nursery was closed during the summer. Work was completed to very high standards and as promised it was carried out during the week that we were closed. We cannot recommend Crown point Builders Ltd highly enough.

Crown Point did a full bathroom refit for me. Ben and his team were absolutely brilliant. Ben helped me work out what I wanted for my bathroom, and then his electrician and plumber were great. The whole thing was as seamless as building work can be, and Ben was easy to contact, and responded very quickly. I can't fault them.

I'm so grateful to have worked with Ben and the team at Crown Point Builders on my renovations in summer 2024. We had a tight timeline to get the renovations finished before we moved in and Ben did a great job of sticking to the schedule. We had a mezzanine extension, flooring, electrical works and painting all done to a very high standard. Communication was easy and straightforward as well. In addition the payment process was divided into instalments so we were able to pay as the works were developing, as opposed to paying in a lump sum at the beginning. I would highly recommend Crown Point to anyone who needs a competent, trustworthy and communicative builder.

Comment from Crown point Builders Ltd:

Thank you for your kind words, We were happy to have been able to complete the works on schedule so you could move in on time, best wishes for many happy years in your new home.

Ben and his team have done two jobs for me: a new downstairs toilet at my mum’s place and a complete refurb of my flat (new kitchen, new floors, rewiring, plastering, redecoration throughout). I’ve been really impressed from start to finish. Quality workmanship, exemplary communication, great value for money, transparent pricing, changes accommodated with good humour, and the whole thing delivered bang on budget and ahead of time. Highly recommended!

Ben Byrne has been exemplary in overseeing a total renovation of my duplex apartment. Walls taken down, new insulation throughout, careful laying of a high quality new wooden floor, stylish new kitchen immaculately installed. He has assembled a terrific team of workers, from his chief building manager Thiago to his electrical team led by Fred and his plumber Karim. The quality of workmanship has been high throughout, delivered to the cost originally quoted without a single hidden extra. When there have been changes requested by me these have been done without complaint, with prompt responses. The project was completed on budget and on time, for a good price. I highly recommend them.

Ben and the guys at Builders Head did a fantastic job renewing the woodwork of the porch to our building after one side had become infested with white rot, as well as repointing the masonry banister that had cracked and flaked off in chunks. Their top-notch joinery, mortaring, weatherproofing and paintwork has left the porch looking good as new, and they also threw in patching up the pebbledash and repainting the front door for free. All the workers on site were friendly, courteous, conscientious, and immensely hardworking, often putting in very long days. Would highly recommend!

Ben Byrne and his team refurbished our family bathroom and hardwood flooring. The overall quality and the finish of their work has been nothing short of outstanding! Ben is an excellent communicator and ensured our project ran as smoothly as possible and he was always available to discuss any potential hiccups and propose workable solutions. The care and attention to detail paid by Martin, who was our main builder onsite, went beyond our expectations. After scouring this website for a builder we could trust we are so pleased we found Ben and would not hesitate to recommend Crown Point Builders.

Comment from Crown point Builders Ltd:

Thank you for your review Suman, It' was a pleasure working for you and your family.
I know you were nervous about finding the right builder after previous bad experiences so I'm glad you're happy we delivered what you were hoping for on your project.

Caroline Mitchell Innes

Crown Point Builders are the first builders we have used where the trust was established on the first day we met. We have now used them 3 times (both outside and inside jobs) and every time we couldn't be happier with the professionalism, respect and great job they have done. One of the jobs they did was to fix a bad job left from a previous builder and they didn't berate the builder but clearly explained to us where it had gone wrong. Ben in particular is a great guy who is very obviously extremely experienced and does a brilliant job liaising between us the client and the all the trades people who have been involved. All the trades used were really great hardworking people who made the impact minimal on family home with small children. We now wouldn't use anyone else.

Ben and team and Crownpoint did a great job. They showed patience and flexibility in doing their scope of work and scheduling around our other suppliers that had issues and delays. They undertook all the kitchen tiling, pipe work, boiler, electrics and decorating to a high standard. Very excellent communication and set clear project timelines and transparent pricing. All the guys they sent were diligent and easy to deal with. Would unreservedly recommend.

Comment from Crown point Builders Ltd:

We look forward to starting the follow up works for you in January.

We used Crown Point for a bathroom renovation and after I’d met with a number of other companies to request quotes, Crown Point immediately stood out from the rest for their professional courtesy, clear communication and helpfulness. They listened to the brief and responded to it, rather than trying to convince us to do something else – and they worked within the budget we were aiming for rather than trying to inflate it. And when the work started, we experienced the same professionalism, conscientiousness and clear communication with everyone who worked on the project. We’re delighted with the results – Crown Point met our brief to the letter. We can honestly say it’s been the best experience we’ve had with a building firm, so we recommend them very highly.

Comment from Crown point Builders Ltd:

High praise indeed, thank you for your kind words, we found working with you a pleasure too.
Thank you once again for your business and we look forward to submitting the quotation for the other works you asked us to price shortly.

Re-roofing window restoration patio renovation

We’ve contracted Ben for three significant maintenance and repair jobs in as many months, and his service comes with our highest recommendation. From his communications, to his help diagnosing problems, to the brilliant, considerate and efficient specialist contractors he has brought in to tackle our needs. It’s been very reassuring to have a person of Ben’s capability co-ordinating and managing jobs, on top of which he’s a very easy person to do business with and a super nice guy. I can honestly only say positive things about working with Crown Point Builders.

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ben and Crown point builders, in amongst the sea of disinterested and uninspiring builders that came to quote for us, crown point have gone out of their way to make this job easy and straightforward. Giving us all the time we need to understand properly what we wanted and giving an honest and realistic time scale and price point. Everyone who we've had contact with has been lovely, It has made what should have been a super stressful experience with our three kids out of the home, so much easier as we could trust them to deliver really awesome quality and when they said they would. Thiago and his team on site have really delivered exactly what we have asked them for, on quote and in the time frame they specified. I have recommended them to all my friends, and I'm sure we'll use them again!

Ben’s team were excellent, all work was completed to a very high standard and the main team member on site was extremely friendly and happy to discuss all aspects of my project with me. The site was left clean at all times and they were happy to work around my baby’s nap time ensuring the noisiest work was completed around this. I would highly recommend

Renovation of a downstairs Guest bathroom

Thiago on behalf of Crown Point builders did a brilliant job on renovating a rather tardy downstairs bathroom into a facility that you would find in a 5* hotel. The finish and attention to detail was excellent and I was willing to pay the slightly extra as I know from previous work carried out by Ben Byrne that we get work done to a very high standard.

Crown Point Builders did an excellent job for us in replacing a odd shaped shower cubicle that was very old and leaking to the flat below. Ben was quick to respond to our initial enquiry, promptly visited the property to view the work and gave as a quote. He gave us a time frame for starting and completing the work which he stuck to. All our questions were dealt with quickly. The work was done to a high standard and we are delighted with the new shower. We would highly recommend Crown Point Builders.
