About Us

Studio XM is an Architectural and Interior Design practice founded by Timothee Mercier in 2019. Based in London’s Notting Hill, the firm has committed to a truly bespoke approach to space-making. Our projects vary in size and scope but our design philosophy remains the same. We aim to deliver highly tailored spaces with a careful balance of subtleness and sensationalism. Every project deserves to have a thoughtful and distinct identity, one that is true to both the location and the people who will call it home. To that end, we promise clients a highly responsive and collaborative process. What is more, our experience managing planning, contracting and project management guarantees a seamless process from start to finish. The result is an Architecture designed to stand the test of time, both in terms of the quality of the build and the timelessness of the design.

I reached out to Studio XM to renovate my newly acquired home. The place hadn’t changed in 15 years and needed quite a bit of work. Tim came to site and took the time to understand my ambitions and the practicalities of the space. There were a lot of moving parts, and I would have felt completely overwhelmed without him and his team. The result is a new home that feels effortlessly sophisticated and, perhaps more importantly, mine. Thank you so much!

I had a lovely experience with Studio XM. Timothee and his team were very attentive and had an amazing eye for detail. He brought all the rooms to life in a really beautiful way and was particularly clever when it came to bathroom layouts. Working with them saved me a lot of time, effort, and money throughout the course of the project.

Tim and his team were responsible for my Interior Design project and I couldn’t be happier with the result. The experience was lovely: professional, creative and flexible. Special attention was given to the kitchen - which definitely needed that extra bit of love.

Timothee helped with the design of our lower ground floor flat. He has been fantastic since the beginning: listening carefully to what we liked, coming up with several different design options and making adjustments based on our feedback. His team helped us with sourcing different pieces of furniture and fixtures. When items were not purchased directly through Studio XM, they were always available to answer questions on shipments. The renovated flat looks nothing like what we had before and we couldn't be happier!

I initially approached Studio XM for some preliminary design ideas for my new apartment. After a couple of weeks we were working hand in hand almost every day to create the perfect space(s). The renovation is not finished yet but I can already see the whole thing coming to life!
