Love Your Home

We have had a very poor experience with Love Your Home. We ordered and paid for a replacement cushion cover. Before ordering, we were informed that the fabric in which our sofa was made from had been discontinued. The factory were contacted and it was confirmed that there was enough fabric to make a new cushion cover. The full amount was paid, and we were informed that there would be a 6-8 week wait. We disposed of our old cushion cover which was no longer fit for purpose. 9 weeks passed, and we were notified that our cushion cover was out for delivery, a further two weeks passed and we were informed that there was now a delay with delivery. A further month passed, and we had not had any communication from Love Your Home. I eventually called Love Your Home, to be informed that there was not enough fabric to make the cushion cover and a refund was offered. The customer service was appalling, and our requests for this to be escalated to senior management/Love Your Home owners ignored. We now have a sofa, that we can no longer use, and a company that really do not care. Its very disappointing. If you are looking to order a sofa, I would strongly recommend using a repeatable company, and not ordering from Love Your Home.

If I could give 0 star, I would. I have had the worst experience with LYH, I was mis-sold a bespoke sofa after travelling into the showroom and asking several questions to get clarity on everything that was important to us. The team are really not knowledgeable, consultative and don't listen, which has led to a item being purchased which was the opposite to what we had asked for. The service from start to finish was awful, I raised my concerns of the entire process and tried to find a solution, which is unfortunately still unresolved (sofa purchased in April 2022 and delivered in July 2022), which just shows the level of poor service. I have contacted the owner to discuss the feedback and in hope to get to a solution, he will not respond to availability to have a call. I can't believe a business operates like this. Anyway, my advice would be do not invest with LYH, as you will be very disappointed with the process, experience, service and particularly after sales care.

Love Your Home are a rare breed, their designs are stunning they manufacture excellent quality and it's made in the UK. It's not often you can find all those elements in an upholstery supplier. I really recommend a visit to their showroom if you are in the area, they have a great product range and the location is beautiful. No wonder their designs are so inspiring. Thanks for all your help on our projects and we look forward to working with you again.

Worst customer service experience I had. Promised a delivery before Christmas as long as I pay immediately. I did, and 3 weeks later they contacted me to say that the can not deliver and referred me to their T&C, when I complained and asked for compensation of some sort, I was referred to a manager that thought me a lesson about how some companies deal with their clients. The manager decided to cancel my order and was considered a demanding customer. I did business and bought products from hundreds of companies in the UK, I never experienced this type of service.

Absolutely delighted with the smoky grey velvet sofabed we purchased. We love the colour, design and quality and it goes perfectly with our leather Chesterfield. Plus the bed is really comfortable. Customer service was absolutely fantastic, highly recommended!

We have purchased many a beautiful sofa from Love Your Home and have always been happy with the quality and service. Their pieces always seem to fit perfectly into our designs and we look forward to seeing what they come up with next!

We loved the sofa designs and the huge range of fabulous fabrics and luxurious leathers that we could choose from at Love Your Home. The team is friendly, helpful and fun to work with. They were very proactive about alterations to the size of one of the sofas we purchased, to allow us to fit it into the bay window area we had available. I ordered a bespoke leather sofa from Love Your Home. They were incredibly helpful and said delivery would take 6 - 8 weeks. In the event, it was six weeks and the sofa is exactly what I wanted. They even met a request to deliver the sofa on my birthday, in time for a party! Faultless service, lovely showroom, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Even the delivery men were helpful and accommodating insisting on assembling the sofa and disposing of all packaging.. On the strength of this have ordered two of their chairs and will order more pieces in due course. Rare to find such exceptional service and the showroom is well worth a visit, set as it is in a beautiful old barn on a classic English country estate. Peter McKenzie

Bought x2 Maximus sofas after seeing it in the Sunday Times. Surprised that Godalming was only 45 minutes on a train from Waterloo so decided to visit. LYH greeted us at the station and drove us the short journey to their barn in the Surrey Hill's. Must say it was very refreshing to view such lovely products in such a beautiful setting (we walked to the local pub too for lunch). The Maximus sofa was even better in the flesh. Met the designer Leigh who was very helpful in supporting our bespoke size requirements. Seamless from start to finish with excellent customer service.

We ordered a bespoke Isabella blanket box from Love Your Home in early 2016, supplying our own fabric. They couldn't have been easier to deal with; they were swift to come back with an estimate and, once we had ordered, kept us fully informed throughout. The blanket box arrived on time, brought by their very helpful and polite delivery company. When we found that it was just a bit too high for the setting, we discussed this with Love Your Home and they kindly changed the feet for us - no fuss, just helpful and keen for us to be pleased with what we had ordered. The blanket box itself, we are thrilled with - exactly what we had hoped for, actually better. We have only recently discovered Love Your Home and had used a different well-known company in the past. The quality and value for money of Love Your Home wins hands down. The Isabella blanket box is finished beautifully both inside and out. The opening mechanism is great - it helps support the weight of the lid on opening and closing. My only regret is that we didn't find Love Your Home sooner. I can't imagine going elsewhere now; they're all lovely and the craftsmanship and overall service is absolutely fantastic.

Dreadful customer engagement/service. Tried hard to place a £10,300 order for three weeks and failed. As per the other review - found them really hard to get hold of. 3wks after I said that I wanted to place an order I was still chasing them to finalise... After visiting the showroom twice, I requested confirmation of the detail behind a brief/high level quote initially provided - LYH didn't respond for an entire week. More detail was provided in a conversational style email but no formal quote was attached. To confirm the order I then provided a detailed breakdown of my requirements (bespoke alterations) including chosen fabrics and requested a revised formal quote. I expected someone to call but nobody did, just another email acknowledged. On an order over £10K you'd think someone would call, right? Regardless, the acknowledgement email promised to provide a quote but again I heard nothing back. One week later I chased but still heard nothing. I did try phoning but it seems that the owner (Leigh) is the only one who can really help with bespoke orders and it seemed he's rarely available. Two more days passed and I contacted LYH again! This time I get another email fundamentally blaming me for the delay because I hadn't specified fabrics ...but I had - 9 days prior. Despite indicating that I'm not happy it still takes two further days to finally provide a quote - in total that's almost 2wks after it was requested. With the quote LYH promised to contact me "tomorrow" to finalise but, again, they didn't. I also explained that I wated to put part payment on a credit card so my purchase would be protected by the Section 75 legislation. They also refused to process any card payment over the phone (it only needed to be £100 to get the credit card insurance benefit). The only payment they would accept was via PayPal (although they seem to accept cards online!). Although you can use a credit card on PayPal you don't get Section 75 protection if you do so that wasn't great for me. Don't see why the couldn't take a small part payment. In the end I bought from Seriously Sofas instead. Got almost exactly the same thing sorted on 3days and the people were absolutely lovely.

I nearly didn't order from Love Your Home as I read some negative reviews online. I expressed these concerns to Leigh, the owner of LYH and he and his team went more than the extra mile to win our business. They were willing to "put their money where their mouths were" and sent the entire order (bespoke-sized Hector corner sofa, blanket box and Hector armchair) without taking a deposit! The furniture arrived in just over 4 weeks. Well within the guaranteed 6 weeks. The fabrics, styles and build quality are of an exceptionally high standard, and fantastic for the price. I urge anyone reading this to disgregard any bad reviews they may find as these do not reflect the company. You will not be disappointed if you give LYH your order. Could not be more pleased that I did so.
