Emma Louise Home Design

I had a wonderful experience working with Emma. She was attentive, thoughtful, efficient, and highly organised throughout the process. The project itself was a little disjointed at first, as I had already tackled parts of the house on my own but struggled to bring everything together to the standard I was hoping for. Before meeting Emma, I spoke with a few other designers—some didn’t even follow up, and others didn’t take the time to understand what I was trying to achieve. Instead, they seemed more interested in imposing their own ideas. Emma was a completely different experience. She made a genuine effort to understand my personal style, how we use the space, and what was important to us as a family. She was also excellent at managing the project, particularly as our budget meant the work needed to progress in stages over time. Another thing that really stood out was how she used AI tools to create helpful renderings of each room. This gave us a clear picture of what the spaces would look like before making decisions, which made the whole process much easier and more reassuring. Her communication, patience, and thoughtful approach made the whole process feel manageable and collaborative, and I’m really grateful for the care she brought to the project. I highly recommend her. I would say her communication and ability to successfully bring out the clients personal style are her greatest strengths.

Emma is an absolute delight to work with. She completely understood the look I was going for and helped with designs, colour schemes and furnishings for our new extension, TV room, office and living room. She also recommended fabulous suppliers for the build of our media wall and lighting. We absolutely love our new space and Emma’s guidance was key to the result.

Emma worked seamlessly with the carpenter to design our media unit, desk/wardrobe area for our office/spare bedroom and our understair storage. She quickly understood exactly what we needed from the different spaces she designed for us; bringing them to life with her 3D designs so we could really visualise the joinery and hone the designs. We were really impressed with Emma’s attention to detail and her focus on the importance of incorporating lighting into her designs.

Emma guided us through choosing the colour palette for our entire house. Selecting colours from the overwhelming array of brands and colour wheels, and identifying ways of adding interest to each room whilst maintaining a flow throughout the house, felt like an impossible task but Emma’s knowledge of colour and light helped us to refine our palette and empowered us to have confidence in our choices. We couldn’t be happier with the end result and are looking forward to working with Emma to decide on more of our window fittings and soft furnishings.

Emma has a natural eye for beautiful things! Her knowledge, patience and encouraging style helped give me the confidence to pick a range of soft furnishings for my home, ranging from curtains to rugs, chairs and cushions. I love interiors myself and have my own ideas, but with Emma's guidance and support I was able to finish my rooms with perfection!

I first contacted Emma during the initial planning stages of our renovation to help me with the external kerb appeal for our house. Emma was so so helpful throughout. Her input was really invaluable and her communication throughout was incredible. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Emma for anyone considering using her services.
