From the very first meeting we were impressed with how approachable and professional Alice and Lee were. As rather nervous and indecisive clients they listened and encouraged and helped us achieve a kitchen that we love. Nothing was too much trouble and tricky issues were dealt with quickly and efficiently. Each and every trade they sent us were first class but a special mention for Ryan who fitted the kitchen, a superb craftsman. We were kept well informed of the timetable of works and everything was clean and tidy. We cannot recommend Herbert William, Alice ,Lee and the whole team enough. We absolutely love our new kitchen. Sarah and her team are super professional and wonderful to work with. She went out of her way to keep in touch and make the changes we requested. We love our kitchen and wouldn't have got there without her design skills and extensive knowledge.

A truly worthwhile "journey" right from our initial meeting with Sarah and Lee to discuss the options for our new kitchen, through several subsequent design iterations to final installation. In addition to the kitchen installation the scope of work included remodelling of a shower room, installation of a new floor, installing a pressurised water system and reworking the electrical installation all of which was coordinated seamlessly by Lee with various high quality tradesman. In sum the whole enterprise was carried out with the absolute minimum of disruption, inconvenience and, perhaps most importantly, unnecessary trauma to us and this was greatly appreciated. Herbert Williams is now planning a further phase of development for us so it goes with our saying that we would highly recommend them to any potential customer.

Herbert William were a joy to work with, nothing was too much trouble and our kitchen looks amazing!

We have just used Herbert William to do our large kitchen - it was a complete re-fit and included some tricky electrics - we were really impressed from the start with the attention to detail and how they listened when we drew up the design, happy to include personal ideas, integrating some old appliances and several changes along the way. The installation was well organised and all the contractors used (flooring, electrics, fitters, painters) were all excellent and worked efficiently together. Any issues were addressed immediately and a little scope creep was absorbed as we went through the project ! Really happy with what we have now got and would definitely recommend them - competitive on price, excellent quality product, workmanship and customer service.

Our kitchen was completely refurbished and redesigned including adapting an existing wall, requiring an RSJ, new ceilings, floor, electrics, plumbing and re-plastering. We are delighted with the design created by Alice, both from an aesthetic and practical point of view. She brought real creativity and imagination to the design and nothing was too much trouble and no detail too small. We required various trades and everyone used by Herbert William was excellent and Lee managed it all brilliantly, following through on everything and he was a pleasure to have around. The kitchen has been much admired since completion!

Many thanks to Alice and Lee at Herbert William, we now have an amazing kitchen which gets so many positive comments when people see it. The Mackintosh cabinets are such high quality and look more expensive than they were; our builder was impressed too. You can really tell the difference between them and the Howdens cupboards he used in our utility room. We got great recommendations when choosing appliances, and Alice and Lee were quick to respond to all our questions. Great value, and great service. Highly recommended!

We visited Herbert William after trying a couple of other kitchen designers who didn't quite hit the mark. We spoke with Sarah on the phone, before visiting the lovely showroom where we met Alice. My husband and I found them both very helpful, and it felt like they fully listened to our requirements. Within a few days we had the design come through for our new kitchen, which formed part of more extensive works to our home. We loved the design, and could see that care had been taken to include all the features we wanted (something that didn't happen with our previous designers). We went ahead with the order, which was delivered promptly, and we were kept up to date with progress. We had a couple of small damages to items, but these were dealt with easily and promptly, with no quibbling, which helped avoid any delays to the installation. We are really pleased with our kitchen, which fits in beautifully with our extended home. We would not hesitate to recommend this company.

We don’t have a huge space, an island unit or bifold doors onto the patio, but what we do have, thanks to the team from HerbertWilliam is an absolutely beautiful kitchen with lots of clever storage space and the Neff appliances that we wanted. Alice and Lee came up with a design that we loved and following a couple of iterations we placed an order. We chose Mackintosh units with Grey Integral Gloss Painted doors and an Ontario Quartz worktop with a Capel Ettra under mounted ceramic sink. A DecoGlaze splashback was suggested, which we went for and absolutely delighted that we did. The quality of the Mackintosh units are fantastic. The worktop, splashback and lighting are gorgeous, however even with the best units and worktop in the world they would look nothing if not properly installed. Elliot who did the electrics, Steve who fitted the worktop, the DecO Glaze team and Paul who installed the units and appliances were all superb. There was a definite desire to get everything right, which we are pleased to say they did. We hired Herbert William to supply a Mackintosh kitchen and appliances, project manage the installation of the kitchen and utility, underfloor heating, flooring and also to remove a wall, fit doors and complete carpentry and finishing work. From the start, Lorna assisted us with a wealth of options and assistance with decisions and we never felt pressured by any aspect of the process. When multiple builders failed us, Herbert William stepped in to help and this was also true when we had problems with the one supplier owe managed ourselves (50sqM of tiles). Lee, the project manager was brilliant, asking all the right questions and seeking solutions before discussing the inevitable snags which arise with such a complex project. The kitchen, finish, detailing and overall quality of the build was incredible and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Herbert William. We were pleased to use a smaller, local firm who put the quality of our project first and foremost and we are thrilled with the result. Pricing was very competitive and the conversation around it was easy. Unusual for me, but I have nothing negative of note and would encourage anyone to include Herbert William in their shortlist.

From start to finish Herbert William were professional , extremely helpful and accommodating . The finished kitchen is stunning , they were always ready to answers queries ,and I was never with out any facilities. The quality of the product is of a very high standard and the service and fitting similarly high . I would recommend anyone wanting a quality kitchen to use Herbert William
