Disgraceful. Took £5,000 non refundable deposit and looks like the business has gone under. Not returning calls or e-mails. Showroom now has a message stating the landlord has taken control of the premises. Stay well clear of Ralph Winter Kitchens.

Really professional right from the start. We decided to steer clear from the larger kitchen manufacturers and go with Ralph as he was local to us and generally we prefer using independent local businesses. Great decision really - initial consultations were very relaxed and Ralph quickly grasped what we were after. Pictures and plans were drawn up for us to review and once we were happy a date was agreed for the work to start. Ralph organised all the trades people such as kitchen fitters / plasters / plumbers etc along with a detailed schedule of when various work was going to be carried out so we always knew what was happening and the timescale. We are really happy with the end result and would highly recommend using Ralph Winter for anyone considering having a new kitchen fitted.

This is a very professional family run company that designs a kitchen to your individual needs. They strive to make your dream kitchen possible in every way. If like us you have no idea of what you really want then the design service provided by Lynn Winter is brilliant, with options you had not even dreamed off. Ralph’s technology and software presentation is so up to date that it allows you to see your kitchen in the colour you have chosen from his vast collection and feel as though you are in your new kitchen whilst he serves you coffee and croissants. The quality of the kitchen he offers is excellent and this can be seen at his bespoke showroom with breath taking style and design. Ralph and Lynn both offer unbiased advice to suit your individual needs. Having now had the new kitchen and utility fitted by this company, we can honestly say, it is more than we could have dreamt of. Ralph gave us the options of either him project managing our installation, or we could do so ourselves. We choose to project manage ourselves and Ralph provided us with the professional tradespeople whom we can not speak highly enough of. All the trades worked well together and our installation was seem less because of them. They all have a very high standard of workmanship. If you are choosing a new kitchen we cannot highly recommend enough the services and design of Ralph Winter kitchens. Thank you Ralph and Lynn for our awesome kitchen which we are enjoying using. We cannot speak highly enough of Ralph & Lynn. We first met before work had started to modernise and extend our bungalow. We visited several kitchen showrooms and Ralph & Lynn were the only ones to understand the plans and fully appreciate the unique qualities of the space our new kitchen would occupy. At every stage from our first meeting, fine tuning the design to dealing with the challenges presented as the build progresses, Ralph & Lynn have been a pleasure to deal with. We now have a superb kitchen and utility room that is enhancing the enjoyment our of home. Thank you Ralph & Lynn, Ian for your exacting fitting and Shane for delivering - many of our units are not light !

Superb service from day one! Showroom second to none with multiple displays of how a Kitchen could look making choice of Kitchen appliances and colours of doors etc very easy. Delivery date was spot on and installation absolutely perfect by an extremely knowledgeable craftsman. Couldn't ask for a better service!

Our huge thanks to Ralph, Lynn and Ian! Part 1 - procurement Needing a new Kitchen we visited several Exeter showrooms and invited 3 quotations. From the outset Ralph and Lynn gave off such 'good vibes' and we simply wanted to work with them. Based on quality as well as price, R & L listened to our needs and preferences to navigate a superb kitchen into our budget range. Both are thoroughly personable; Lynn is a fantastic designer, responsive to comments, offering ideas and costed options to aid comfortable decisions; Ralph is practical, responsive and flexible. All our discussions were relaxed, realistic and open-book providing confidence in the process. In addition to the kitchen installation, we needed significant building works (opening through kitchen/ dine, sliding doors, external doors & windows alterations, electrics, heating, flooring). R & L proved a godsend in providing a comprehensively detailed, competitive quotation for undertaking all the necessary works and trades. So far, an exciting and enjoyable adventure ... Part 2 - the works Undertaken in-house, weighed down by Winter, Brexit and Covid, Ian could not have been a more diligent Craftsman Extraordinaire, who's skill, care, accuracy, cleanliness and reliability, every day, made the chaos bearable. The team maintained a focus on time and cost for a managed landing and stayed mindful of finishing the inevitable 'odd bits' hanging out at the end. So far, not so comfortable but definitely a satisfactory journey ... Part 3 - the finish O my, what a fabulous kitchen! A faultless installation, great work, great quality Ralph's final account was presented accurately and promptly for an agreeable conclusion So - a very satisfactory experience overall and such a pleasure to have worked with Ralph, Lynn and Ian.... So - highly recommended, no need to go anywhere else.

Ralph and his team were excellent. For us it was a big job: tearing out an entire kitchen and replacing it. We were intially overwhelmed by it all but Ralph and Lynn gave us loads of support. In the end it all went smoothly. The design Lynn produced was perfect, which must have been difficult for her because at first we were lost when looking at the catalogues. Somehow she managed to produce what we wanted when we weren't particularly clear. Equally, the trades they used were all really good, very helpful and trustworthy. The project manger Ian was always several steps ahead and had answers to questions we hadn't even got round to asking! Even when there were snags along the way, such as delays in materials from Germany, the trades were willing to go out of their way to make time to finish the job. If we could do it again, would we go to a national chain? No. Would I use them again? Definitely.

This is our second kitchen from Ralph Winter and we will be back for our third. The beautiful showroom will provide you with an endless array of stunning kitchen solutions so even if you are sure of exactly what you want there is a plethora of exceptional asthetics and finishings to tempt. Friendly and professional, Ralph and Lynn guide you throughout the whole process. Lynn has an excellent eye for design detail and is extremely patient and through in gleaning the information required to produce a fantastic design which even with a few tweaks, nothing was too much trouble. Ralph attended site to check the build details and even though some walls weren't even in place his experience and knowledge was invaluable. The install was smooth thanks to Ian. Thank you Ralph Winter for another amazing space...might bake a cake!

Ralph Winter designed and installed our kitchen. We were so pleased with the design and not disappointed once installed. The quality of the kitchen is excellent and most importantly the fitting of the kitchen was first class. The after sales contact was maintained along with inspections and final sign off. I'm not a kitchen lover, I didn't like any of the three kitchen designs I'd already had suggested and by the time I got to Ralph Winter's I couldn't imagine ever being inspired by a kitchen... but I was wrong! Lynn really listened to what I wanted and needed, she has a great eye for colour & design and worked carefully but imaginatively to come up with lovely, simple solutions - that I genuinely love! She and Ralph were accessible and quick to respond over the next few days in checking and finalising the design, and the whole process was remarkably pain free. Communication re: delivery dates was good, the units and appliances are all of lovely quality and the fitting was to a high standard. Customer care couldn't have been better and, to my surprise, I do actually love my kitchen. Thank you Lynn and Ralph.

In every way we found the experience of dealing with Ralph and Lynn Winter excellent. From the ideas and design stage through to the installation there was a confidence that you get from experienced people - who know what they are doing and do it well. Customer care is taken very seriously so we were kept informed at all times with programming and delivery times. Advice on products and appliances was impartial and straightforward with no hint of bias or pushiness . Their focus on achieving the best results within our budget and at pace that we were comfortable with - business like but unhurried was appreciated. They have the ability to be flexible with non-standard items and understand that achieving a good kitchen is in more than just the sum total of appliances and units. Going into the showroom was always a joy and usually resulted in a constructive solution. You are in safe hands with Ralph and Lynn Winter.
