Willowbrook Kitchens

Paul built a beautiful kitchen for us after helping us plan it – and we are delighted with the results. This is proper furniture; the quality is evident every time you use anything in the kitchen. The wood is thick, the construction perfect and the ancillary parts to the same high standard. Paul took care to ensure the installation lived up to the construction and the kitchen continues to be the highlight of our house.

Paul was recommended to us and he originally came to provide some quotes for various pieces of work we need for a general refurb and modernisation we're in the process of completing for our house in a village near Stamford. Straight away he was sympathetic to what we were trying to do, making various suggestions as to how we could blend the modern look we wanted, without changing the feel of the house. We've started with two custom built alcove units in our lounge, which look absolutely amazing, transforming the room. Him and his team were very respectful of our property, leaving a clean and tidy workspace every day and they were more than trustworthy to leave with access to our property while we were out. The finished work is top spec, finished to a very high standard. We're now recommending him to all of our friends looking for similar work and we will certainly engage with Willowbrook for the next phase of work on the house.

We invited Willowbrook to come up with ideas for our very old- fashioned dowdy kitchen.Paul was very friendly and 'switched on', with lots of ideas to offer, as well as asking us questions about how we used the kitchen, what gadgets we liked, etc to assess our needs and what new things he could offer that maybe we hadn't thought about. After he submitted initial scaled drawings, we made a few tweaks and booked the kitchen to be fitted about 3 months later. We found it easiest to source our own electrician and had the sockets etc put in the correct places before the kitchen was installed. We also sourced and ordered our own appliances ( mostly through John Lewis so we could earn shopping points) but supplying these items is a service Willowbrook offer do offer and can offer competitive prices. The cupboards arrive with varnished inners and hand- painted doors, plynths etc with durable quality paint and we were pleased with the overall result. There were a few snagging things which Paul came back to sort afterwards ( such as fine tuning of some hinge adjustments, joinery smoothing etc) but this is to be expected and we were very happy with how everything was managed. I would definitely recommend this company but one should always work well ahead to that nothing needs to be rushed along the way.
