From the moment we entered the showroom and met Cathy we knew we were going to buy our kitchen from Denby Kitchen Company but it turned out to be much more than just a kitchen. From our first tentative visit to the showroom, to the beautiful space we have created is all down to the dedication, skill and knowledge of Barry, Cathy and Glynn. The team of tradesmen (builders, joiners, plumbers, electricians, plasterers, floor layers and the designers etc.) all coordinated by Barry have totally transformed our home into a stunning space. The kindness, understanding and attention to detail was second to none and we would have no hesitation in recommending Denby Kitchen Company to anyone wanting to transform their home. Thank you so much to everyone involved.

Very happy with our gorgeous new bathroom. Started and finished on the promised dates and all work carried out professionally and meticulously by John, Phil, Lee & Jordan. A special mention for John & Phil who carried out the bulk of the work, it’s great to know tradesman still exist who take a pride in their work and sensitive to the fact they are in someone’s home. Planning was easy and painless. Whilst we had an idea of what we wanted, we were happy to be guided in terms of what was feasible. This was a big operation with everything stripped out back to bare walls etc, but came in on time and on budget. Quite a feat! We would have no hesitation in recommending Denby Dale Kitchens & Bathrooms to any prospective client.

We embarked on a major project in 2018 of demolishing an existing property and building afresh on the site. Part of this project was to have a stunning kitchen as one of the main focal points for the property. We were recommended by my Grandparents who have used Denby Kitchen Company many times in the past, and what a good recommendation it was! It was our intention to visit at least three kitchen designers, but in all honesty after the first visit to Denby Kitchen Company, we didn’t feel the need to meet with anyone else. Our first unplanned visit was handled by Matty, who was not only interested in us and our project, but clearly understood what we were looking to achieve. From there a more formal appointment was scheduled with Barry and Glyn. Throughout the year we spent working with Denby Kitchen Co everyone was professional, approachable and gave a genuine feeling that they wanted to do a good job for us – Barry, Cathy, Matt, Glyn should all be proud of what they have done. They all work so incredibly hard to help in any way they can. The attention to detail was outstanding whilst understanding our aims and objectives and offering complimentary views that only added to the end result. Being able to see our kitchen on a screen was a major benefit, any tweaks could be made there and then! Their ability to envision our finished space when it was actually a pile of rubble was excellent! The end product speaks for itself and you can feel the time, thought and effort that has been put into the project. The kitchen looks incredible, we really couldn’t be happier with it. With the kitchen in hand, we began to struggle to find a bathroom vanity unit on the open market and over one of our meetings with Barry, he suggested that they would be able to bespoke manufacture a unit to our specification. They did just that. From design, to manufacture to installation – and again, the end result speaks for itself. It really is the focal point of our en-suite and provides so much, much needed storage! We will never be able to thank everyone enough at Denby Kitchen Co for helping us realise our dream kitchen and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them in the future. To say they made our kitchen dreams come true is an understatement.

To anyone who may be interested in booking an appointment with this company please be aware that whilst they attempt to portray a well organised and caring business this actually masquerades an abject disregard for any form of meaningful customer service and effective service delivery. Initially when one makes contact with this company an interrogation ensues as to why you have dared contact them and try and give them your business. No customer should be felt like they are having to audition to give business to any company! Having very kindly being accommodated with a design consultation at their premises, as opposed to on site as is normal etiquette, 10 days in the future. After a few days I receive a phone call to say that due to a funeral they are unable to keep the appointment as made and a postponement being necessary. Whilst I have every sympathy for the fact that there has been a bereavement what would be normal for any business is to juggle things around and reschedule as soon as possible. Instead, Denby Kitchen Company feel that it is acceptable to postpone by another 10 days. Once again one is patronised and made to feel that it is a privilege to even have the audacity to consider giving the company any business. After several lame explanations, such as we have a very loyal customer base etc etc, of why there was such a long delay, the true ethos of the company is unveiled, ‘I’m not interested in your quick turn round business’. This kind of response to a potential client is both farcical and infuriating in equal measure. To add further insult ‘Barry’ proceeds to terminate the call. This is a company that feels it necessary to applaud itself and post numerous photos of laying a new floor in a hairdressing salon as if it is one of their proudest accolades! Finally, I am no serial complainer and certainly not someone who has taken the decision to air my ire in public, for the first time, without just cause. Hopefully, Denby Kitchen Company will learn something and anyone considering becoming a client will think long and hard before doing so.

We have been extremely impressed by the product quality and service provided by Denby Kitchen Co. Right from our very first visit to their showroom their attention to detail in providing us with a friendly, first class service and kitchen design to give us the extra space we required in our small kitchen was second to none, in fact nothing was too much trouble for them. Work commenced on the day we were initially given and the work was carried out every day unbroken until completion despite the snowy weather conditions which made travelling very difficult. Tony and Rob the fitters were brilliant and their attention to detail and the quality of finish was second to none. We are extremely pleased with the completed job and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking for a quality kitchen with an excellent service and top class fitters then look no further that Denby Kitchen Co.

After choosing Denby Kitchen Company for our new kitchen over five years ago we had no hesitation in knocking on their door once more when we had need of a new home office followed by a complete master bedroom. Their ability to problem solve and create professional, bespoke answers to the finished project is exemplary and the attention to detail is first class.

The kids have left, we have occasional visitors but wanted to make the most of bedrooms and storage. We looked at the DIY offerings and the larger fitting displays, but it didn’t work with our concept. We wanted to steal the fitted option from the adjoining room, giving a super large wardrobe with walk-in options. Problem was it was also an overstairs location, so needed some skill to maximise the space. By coincidence we called into Denby Dale Kitchens and mentioned our predicament. We do bedrooms, says Barry. We described what we were trying to achieve. He didn’t say no, you can’t do that. He did say come and have a look at these. Fantastic blue glass sliding doors. We can make what ever you want, to wat ever side you need, it’s bespoke, you say we make. That’s what happened. We designed all that we wanted, pull downs, walk ins, shelves and drawers, shoe racks, hanging and glitzy storage, Again the planning was meticulous. I wanted some bedside reading lights similar some I had encountered in Denmark, Cathy searched and searched eventually finding some, nothing was to much trouble. We placed the order. Walls were removed and repositioned, plastered and then painted by myself. The fitting by skilled carpenters/ joiners was faultless and precise. The guys worked well with other suppliers, flooring and soft furnishings. It went pretty much to plan, any obstacles overcome and the end result was fantastic. So a second high quality project delivered by Barry and his team. I highly recommend them and would certainly use them again.

I have had work done by this company over several years. I go back to them because I have been more than happy with the quality of work, the after service and the friendly staff. I have had a kitchen fitted, then a bathroom, and two sets of fitted wardrobes. They employ reliable tradesmen. They listen to the client so you get what you want. I will use them again!
