Great company they built our oak and glass staircase and oak garage doors . Well recommended as very professional from start to finish . If you use Angus and Mac you will not be disappointed . We will use them again for future projects .

Angus & Mack came recommended to me by the salvage yard in Glasgow - I'd bought a load of reclaimed wood from them and was looking for someone to turn it into custom bookshelves in my living room - wall to wall and floor to ceiling. Julian did not disappoint. He did such a beautiful job - milled and waxed all the wood so it sings, but left the dinks and scars that give reclaimed wood its character. (I think these were old pews or school benches?) He listened to what I was after, I emailed him a sketch I'd done with measurements, he prepared all the shelves and then took one day on site to install. I have to say, I still (nearly 5 years later!) get such pleasure from looking at them - they're my favourite thing about this flat. I've used Angus & Mack for other smaller jobs since but those living room shelves were the big one. I'd use them again in a heartbeat tho - talented craftsmen and genuinely lovely blokes to boot.

Angus and Mack designed and built our garden office. It is beautiful and practical and the envy of many friends and neighbours. Throughout the design and build process the team were great to work with and listened and adapted to our needs. We would definitely recommend them to others.

Angus and Mack have worked with me on a number of projects including shelving and cupboards for the Edinburgh Steiner School library and office. They have also built beds and fitted out a posh garden shed for me. On each occasion their workmanship has been of the highest standard. Their work is creative and beautiful and the end product impresses and works perfectly on a practical level.

Angus and Mack designed and made 7 oak stools for me in December 2011 - to celebrate 7 children who are special in my life. Each has the name engraved on one side with their date of birth on the other. They are quite beautiful and have been widely praised by everyone who has seen them, leading to further commissions. I cannot praise too highly the standard of their workmanship. The firm was recommended to me by friends in Edinburgh.

Angus and Mack custom built a large walnut bathroom cabinet for my wife and I. It is wall mounted and truly beautiful. Having been installed now for nearly three years and not necessarily been treated with the love and care such a piece really deserves it looks as good as new. This is testament to the care and attention that it was given when finishing with oil. I would not hesitate to recommend their work and intend to use their services again for several pieces in our planned extension.
