Construction of single storey extension, downstairs shower room, off street parking for two cars, patio area and design/installation of kitchen. Blaine and Ryan were incredibly helpful at every stage of this project. Providing advice on the practicality of an architects drawings, and offering up their own suggestions or solutions. All of which worked well and we are very pleased with end results. All workmanship was too a very high standard and particularly appreciated the attention to detail. As an example, when installing an outside tap over an old Belfast sink, they commissioned some wrought iron brackets to support the sink and added a hot tap, a real hit when working outside in the winter. Blaine regularly discussed progress and ideas, especially in relation to the kitchen, the end result being a living space that maximises use of natural light and has made a real difference to our lives. Deadlines were nearly always met and the work came in on or just below budget for the different elements of the work. There were no nasty surprises.

We hired Lawrence Services Ltd to convert our downstairs kitchen, into a large kitchen/diner as well as converting our outbuildings into a utility room for the kitchen. The work was done to a really high standard, in fact I regularly have people asking who we used as they are always impressed. Subsequently we used Lawrence Services Ltd to do a number of jobs ranging fitting new windows and plastering our master bedroom, to fixing out leaky chimneys and most recently replacing the garage roof.

We had a really good experience working with these guys on our loft conversion and kitchen extension and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. We chose to work with them not through a recommendation, we found them just whilst searching - but because they were so personable and patient before the project had even kick started. It really set them apart from so many others businesses we met with. The wider team were also great to work - conscientious, really friendly and a high quality of finish. We are supremely happy with the end result and just how little disruption there was throughout the build was a pleasant surprise to us! The team weren't afraid to make suggestions and challenge our ideas to make sure we got the very best finish - which we really appreciated. With such a big project there were of course a couple of niggles but nothing that wasn't resolved. They were a joy to work with and should we have future projects, they'll be the first people we call.

I saw a house near here that had been renovated to an excellent standard so I wrote direct to the owner to ask who had done the work. I'm so glad I did as they recommended Lawrence Services who then went on to do a fantastic job on our full house renovation too. This is our first home and we had no previous experience of hiring project managers, builders, electricians, decorators etc so it was a huge relief that Lawrence Services were so professional, reliable, helpful and patient with our endless requests. It really took the stress out of this process for us, knowing that we could ask for advice from this friendly and trustworthy company. I recommend them to anyone who asks!

In an industry that can be tricky for consumers to navigate, Lawrence Services are a breath of fresh air. Recommended to us by a friend, they offered exactly what we had been looking for - a full-service contractor that can provide initial design support, project management and full building services, and at a reasonable cost. My partner and I are self-employed, and we're very busy people. Our time is valuable to us, and so when we renovated our kitchen we needed a contractor that would listen to what we wanted, assist us with the design, ironing out the practicalities and problem solving, and then take care of everything from start to finish. Lawrence Services provided all of this and more. Our Project Manager, Blaine Lawrence, was superb. Always quick to respond to emails, texts and calls, he is incredibly switched on, offering 3D visualisations of proposed works and contributing great ideas and innovative solutions to problems throughout the entire project. Having a project manager who has worked his way up through the trade is invaluable - he could do most of the work himself which gives him great insight in managing his team of tradesmen. I would sometimes finish work late, and fire off a few questions to Blaine via email before going to bed, expecting a reply in the morning - to my surprise he'd often reply within minutes, and was always on hand to keep us informed. Our kitchen design was a little unconventional, involving a lot of custom built elements. Lawrence Services not only took on board exactly what we wanted, but regularly contributed ideas that fit perfectly with our minimalist industrial design. What impressed us most was the attention to detail - they spotted and improved so many elements that we wouldn't have even noticed, all in the interest of doing the job properly. They covered everything, from demolishing an old lean-to conservatory and replacing it with a bespoke double glazed system, to replacing the floor, rewiring the electrics, plumbing, tiling, plastering, modernising the 80 year old drainage system for the whole house, heavily customising and fitting an Ikea kitchen to suit our design, built custom shelving and furniture, built rustic wood panelling for one of the walls, built a custom lighting rig for the conservatory... there's too much to mention. We later hired Lawrence Services to modernise our bathroom, replacing our boiler in the process. Again, they excelled in realising our modern, bespoke design. They suggested a clever move of the boiler that allowed us to add a shower cubicle to the room - something we wouldn't have thought possible given the limited space. The design was such that the room somehow ended up looking bigger than before! The security of knowing that we could leave them to it, taking care of everything and keeping us well informed, was absolutely invaluable. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Lawrence Services, both for smaller jobs such as built-in wardrobes, all the way up to a complete house build from start to finish.
