I can strongly recommend TMD to anyone considering a house build or renovation where they are looking at creating something that is innovative unique, and beautiful. From the outset, Toni listened carefully to my brief, assisted in the planning process, and together with the builders, (we were using Construction Management in our Self Build), the whole program was realized inside 9months and was relatively painless. Toni needed to play a “hands-on” role with myself and the suppliers throughout the build, proving her responsive and adaptive nature. I should add that I was not based in the UK at the time which shows how important her communication and responsiveness skills had to be. The results were outstanding! Sitting perfectly amongst an established farmland and farm buildings - it amazes my guests and myself each and everyday. I would have no problem in recommending Toni and also revealing her work in person.

“We loved working with Toni on an exciting new project, building a garden pavilion. Our initial meeting resulted in an imaginative building even incorporating her interpretation of a lake that as awkward clients we asked for! She listened and we ended up with a beautiful building that is a wonderful addition to the house and garden, and is a joy to use. We wanted to use a variety of materials to reflect the original Arts & Crafts house and Toni has produced our amazing building that includes copper and slate roofs, exposed brickwork, glass, plaster and corten walls, oak floors etc that harmoniously combine to form a truly beautiful building with a timeless feel that sits beautifully with our house in the garden. We enjoyed the whole creative process and have ended up with a building that far exceeds our expectations as an additional space in the garden for use throughout the year. Everyone who has relaxed in the pavilion loves the building which is calm and peaceful until invaded by happy grandchildren running in and out from the garden. I would love to work with Toni again, I just need to think of a project, and I would certainly recommend her to anyone who wants to use a very creative architect who listens and is always at the other end of a phone or email.

P11 Consultants were Construction Managers on a new build private dwelling set in the idyllic Suffolk countryside which Toni Moses Design was the architect for. From the outset Toni’s vision was very clear and the attention to detail was second to none as the project evolved which helped bring the vision to reality for one very happy client. They are a great practice to work with embracing collaborative working between all parties.

We came across Toni’s work via friends when she transformed their period home with a sympathetic and beautiful extension. At the time, we were looking for a ‘project’ house. From the start, Toni was never afraid to share an honest opinion on the suitability of a site. She instilled confidence and trust, we never doubted a word she said and took all her superb advice on board. But Toni also listens carefully to her clients’ ideas. She has the ability to take a raw, clumsy, inarticulate description of ‘what we’d like’ and turn it into something succinct, visionary and extraordinary. She thinks about people and how they live, about context - how the build will sit in the landscape - and how it will mature. Her work allows the beauty of materials to shine through and, with total artistry, she balances shapes, textures, colours and dimensions. I don’t think there is an aesthetic that she does not deeply consider and bring together in a cohesive, integrated whole that is so much more than the sum of its parts. Toni is also a meticulous planner; she constantly has one eye on the detail and one on the bigger picture. She calmly and skilfully lead us through the process of a house build (first timers that we were) and the relationship easily developed into friendship, not just with Toni but with all of the contractors she brought to the team. It’s a cliché, but it really was a ‘dream team’. Not a single drama, crisis, panic moment.... the build was a collaborative project, carried out with total professionalism at every level. It was completed on time and on budget. The greatest compliment I can pay to Toni and the team is that I truly didn’t want the process to end. From design to completion, it was an utter joy, a learning curve and life-enhancing experience. Our new home (nearly 10 years old now) continues to delight us. It has matured around us as our children have grown up and into their home. It has proved its adaptability to busy contemporary life and the changing needs of family life. In the summer, it opens out into the garden and surrounding countryside and in the winter, it’s a warm cosy haven that looks as welcoming from the outside as it is on the inside. Visitors to the house always comment on how beautiful it is...how the design frames the views, brings the outside in... many complement the design details, the materials, the clever use of space. Toni is a true artist who expresses herself through space, design and materials. buildings. Her work has an emotional and psychological intelligence and sensitivity: these are buildings that affect our lives and well-being for the better.

We worked intensively with Toni Moses over a two year period on the comprehensive refurbishment of our 1954 home including adding two double story extensions. Toni's vision for the house was inspired and with her help we have created a thoroughly modern, well functioning, family home. It is testament to Toni's skill that you cannot see where the original house ends and the extensions begin. Toni was a pleasure to work with and guided us expertly from concept design to completion including project managing the build for us. We are delighted to recommend her.

Toni is an inspirational architect and rigorous project manager. Her designs are beautiful: she uses space imaginatively and she is particularly talented at using natural light to create airy spaces. She also designed excellent lighting schemes for us. The end result is both aesthetically pleasing and offers outstanding modern living. She is a demanding project manager and worked closely with the contractors to deliver excellent finish. She is a delight to work with and flexible to client needs. She is effective in planning applications.

Toni Moses creates unique spaces while being able to incorporate customers requirements. Her work is commendable and I would highly recommend. She has worked on several fabulous barn conversions for me and a stunning new build contemporary seaside house.

Toni has the unique ability to visualize and design structures that work in their respective environments, the practicality of the owners' lives and have the added benefit of looking beautiful. She designed a modern extension, studio and garage for us and they all seem harmoniously linked despite the fact that they were built at very different times in different styles. Toni knows and understands her craft and has the ability to listen to her clients, but I have learnt that she often is right about things and I regret not having listened to her!
