I am very grateful to Kim for all her help and advice on the extension and renovation or our lower ground floor. Kim was an outstanding partner throughout the project, providing a flexible but thoughtful design service. Kim worked to our style and budget in advising on design layout, materials and furnishings. I'm extremely grateful to have worked with Kim on my first full flat renovation (c. 1000 sqft, 3 bed, two bath). I felt fully supported throughout design, approvals, tender, and construction until I had more time to focus. At that point, she pivoted from hands-on management and quality control to thought partnership and advice. As we kicked off, I was very time poor, and Kim was an outstanding partner, stretching to understand my taste and help me navigate through tradeoffs in design, materials and execution. I was also working on a very tight timeline, and she rose to the occasion (3 months design, 3 months build). Kim's project management skills were outstanding. All materials were on time for each phase of the build, but two lamps (the problem was the manufacturer) and the countertop / splash back (which was my fault). My builder - who had not worked with Kim before - was also very positive on his collaborative experience with her. If I were to step back and distill what characterises Kim for me, it would be: *Strong taste levels *Adaptable to my style and feedback *Extremely efficient and organised *Strong sense of value / ethics *Very pleasant, but also not a pushover I suppose the most important thing, is that I absolutely love my flat. It feels distinctively me, but I can easily point out where Kim's advice stretched the sophistication and style, to deliver something really beautiful.

We worked with Kim at De Beauvoir Design during our whole-house renovation. Her bespoke and flexible service was perfect us and we used her for both project management and also more hands-off consultancy work, depending on the needs of the moment. She was willing to advise on big picture plans and small details including budgeting the project, finding and managing tradespeople, onsite supervision, advice on planning applications, technical drawings and helping source materials. We found working with her to be good value for money. She was invaluable as a sounding board, counsellor and all-round fixer of problems.

We have worked with Kim and De Beauvoir Designs on numerous projects now supplying timber windows and joinery; every one of the projects has been a massive success for her and her clients. Kim is very knowledgable and organised, she has a great understanding of whats involved and keen eye for detail in ensuring nothing is missed or forgotten. She does an excellent job of project managing her clients projects and making there dreams a reality. Her and her company take a great deal of stress off clients and the trades they work with in advising and communicating between all parties for the best possible outcome for the client. It's been a pleasure to work with De Beauvoir Design over the years and we continue to look forward to work together in the future.

Kim of De Beauvoir Design helped with the design and project management of my 750 sq feet apartment in London. I was away from the country and Kim looked after the whole process from obtaining the license from property management to overseeing the builder's work. She's very meticulous yet very efficient, and she was able to provide all the necessary information and good advice for me to make decisions from afar. Her design is modern, stylish and user-friendly. I really like my apartment and I received a lot of compliments from visitors too. I enjoyed working with Kim and would recommend her professional service to anyone.

Significant residential project in semi-detached Edwardian house, 4 floors in Highgate: kitchen side & rear extension; new plumbing, electrics, appliances, glazing, bathrooms, decoration; re-configuring several rooms including creating new doorways; tanking & insulating cellar & complete redesign/terracing of the garden. 12 months projects with our vacating the house. Architect's plans provided a good structure but needed refining to improve useability/internal aesthetics & reduce costs - all of which Kim achieved. She is far more than a project manager; a practical, wise adviser on all aspects of design, building, interiors: 1. strong ideas & creative challenge, resulting in major improvements (including extra guest bedroom & bathroom & a larger, lighter, obstruction free kitchen); 2. sourced the kitchen (direct from factory in Italy), appliances, sanitary wear, lighting, showers & all flooring making large savings, & giving better products; 3. managed, instructed & maintained excellent relations with builders & was on site at least once every week; 4. kept me in close contact, advised me on all decisions, & acted as the coordinator of the whole project. Kim's fee represented the most cost-effective element in my budget - her involvement made this project (& saved me a lot of stress, time and, quite probably, my day job). She is also a thoroughly nice and easy person to work with. I would heartily recommend De Beauvoir & Kim for any building project or design works.

I consider myself extremely fortunate to have met and hired Kim. I wanted someone who could not just help me design my renovation (complete gutting of a 5 bedroom house) but could also project manage it. Kim was able to run the process all the way from contracting the builder to finding art work. She combines a great eye for detail with tremendous organisational efficiency; at no stage did I ever feel there was a risk of any balls being dropped or that my project was anything other than her main focus. I was very happy to outsource lots of the stylistic decision making to Kim, but I think she could be equally helpful for someone with a firmer view of what they want. I am extremely happy with the outcome and can't recommend Kim highly enough.

We worked with Kim on bespoke staircase in North West London with one of clients. She was involved in the initial consultation through to entire project management and completion. Together we came up with a truly unique design that everyone loved. Her attention to detail - from having the glass button painted the same colour as the string, to the colour matching treads and wood flooring, was fantastic. We are very pleased to work with Kim and look forward to helping her clients create beautiful feature staircases.

I very much enjoyed working with a Kim who I hired to style two rooms and source and supply furniture and accessories. Kim was very professional and has obvious creative flair and vision. She sourced some beautiful furniture from places I wouldn’t have thought of looking at myself. Kim is very organised and kept me fully updated throughout the project. She managed the budget well and wasn’t fazed when I completely changed my mind about what I wanted. As a result we have two luxurious looking rooms and gorgeous bedside tables that still make me smile!

I have just finished a project with Kim at De Beauvoir Design, incorporating a basement, which was previously a two bedroom flat, into the rest of our house. The work also included a bespoke contemporary staircase, double height glazing and remodelling of the ground floor. Kim absolutely understood what we wanted to achieve and the result was way better than we could have achieved without her. She added a much more creative touch to the design and always gave us price options when sourcing things. I particularly loved the lighting choices she came up with, none of which we would have found alone. She has a very good eye for detail and project managed the time and budget extremely well. Our new space has changed our family life and we are enjoying our beautiful home. We will be using De Beauvoir Design again.

Project: House re-plumbing and bathroom (2) upgrade / replacement De Beauvoir Design Role: Project manage entire project and bathroom design and utility selection. This included helping to scope the job, tender for and select the tradespersons to undertake the work and also oversee/manage progress. Style: Kim is very professional and personable. She is able to blend creative flair with technical detail and project management assertiveness. She is very pro-active, thoughtful and constructive especially when working with budgets. We are / will be using her again.

Kim project managed my renovation from start to finish. I think she would be the first to admit it was a job that if something could go wrong - it probably did! Absolutely no fault of Kim's however. She managed each issue with calmness and clarity and always came up with great solutions. The workmanship, the finishes, the design are all faultless. There was no detail Kim did not consider. She did a lot of research into every aspect, providing me with a few alternatives to choose from, taking into consideration my budget and tastes. I couldn't be happier with the result.
