Richard did our drawings, planning and building regulations for a barn conversion for holiday let in North Yorkshire Moors National Park. He picked his way through our brief and came up with a design sympathetic to the area and the building and we love it. www.thebarnharwooddale.co.uk shows the finished barn.

Richard from Prospect Design has undertaken two commissions on houses that I have owned and refurbished. One was a major renovation of the complete house including garden room extension and lowering of ceilings at first floor to create a second floor loft conversation. The second was a dormer bungalow renovation with new extension, re-positioning of staircase, and knock through from kitchen to dining room. Further works still to be undertaken. Very knowledgeable, professional and accommodating of ongoing reviews of the clients brief. I would definitely employ him again should I proceed with a further project.

Richard is not only a lovely person to work with he is extremely good at his job. He is a friendly easy going guy with a lot of patience and a good eye for design. In particular Richard: 1. Listened to our views and took on board our feedback. 2. Shared his ideas as to how to improve the design, explaining his reasons why. 3. Provided quality designs and plans 4. Took the lead with all planning matters and successfully achieved planning consent. 5. Had a good rapport with the builders throughout the project. We would not hesitate to work with or recommend Richard in the future.

We planned and designed our house extension with Richard Webster of Prospect Design. We planned a new office and large garden room to increase footprint and replaced an older conservatory. The project facing complemented the existing house, recycled bricks and pantile roof. The project went very well, delivered to budget and we are very happy with the outcome, a very large room warm room we use for entertaining all our guests.

Richard's design effectively reflected our needs for the extension and also the characteristics of the original build. The detail was for a highly insulated build and a seamless continuation of the original. Very satisfied with the result.

From the outset the advice I received regarding the Planning Permission process, design of building and the execution of the application was professionally provided by Richard Webster. Communication of progress was provided at frequent intervals and even after successful completion of the project Richard remained approachable giving further advice on related issues. Can recommend without reservation.

I can't recommend Richard highly enough. We purchased a large property built in 1836, it needed a lot of work. Richard was brilliant from start to finish. He quickly drew up plans for the entire house which is 3 floors and a cellar. He listened to what we wanted to change and made fantastic suggestions. He made the enquiries we needed to check planning issues with the council. He liaised with our builders on what we wanted. He organised structural engineers to visit, and specialist damp people to look at our cellar. He is always quick to respond and didn't mind when we changed our mind countless times. We are delighted with our beautiful family home. Richard's experience was invaluable and we have used him on a number of other projects relating to our business.
