Hi Kate, I've tried this before... unsuccessfully I may add! Luckily managed to put it back together as it looked before! We had nowhere to bolt the middle support leg underneath once we had moved over the main base of the sofa. Also the chaise section didn't look right once it had been flipped over, so didn't want to explore moving the legs too. I've actually noticed that DFS have since changed the designs allowing to move it to either side (base of the chaise is not attached to the sofa - genius). Good luck if you do decide to go ahead! If they were outdated furniture retailers wouldn't sell them. There are loads for sale. I have one in my other home in Somerset and my son has just ordered one to be made in grey in the same design. While he was ordering his 3 more people ordered the same one. They are very popular.

Hello, I think your TV position is fine where it is so you could put a sectional sofa and an armchair instead of the two sofas that currently face each other. A round or an oval coffee table would also be a more balanced choice in terms of shape as currently there are too many rigid rectangles and straight corners. Good luck! Natalia

I agree with both Daisy and Carolina comments. Two sofas “tend” to be more flexible and also give a more formal look. Corner or L sofas don’t always work as well when entertaining either as it’s quite difficult to chat when most of you are in a row. Is a tv also a consideration? Is the room a little dark or is the photo dark as you didn’t have light behind you? If it’s dark I might be tempted to lighten/brighten the sofas with cushions and a throw, however having just bought a sofa bed in a similar style to the navy one you’ve pictured I must admit I prefer it with just the bolster cushions so that may be a consideration.
