I can estimate the size of your room and I agree with you, keep it simple and stylish. Quality, is your key here. I'd be tempted to look at glass, something that's reflective or that's clean (non-fussy looking) as you have a lot that's 'talking' in your room. Comments (3)You can get spotlights or LED strips installed if you want and like the look. It will be a relatively straightforward job for an electrician. Personally I would switch the existing light for a nice pendant, add a freestanding lamp, a couple of table lamps and fit everything with Thread enabled bulbs so you can customise brightness, colour and mood.
