I like the idea of a day bed under the window. I really like this one by Ferm Living. I would however just ask if the fact it won't be symmetrical to the bed bother you? If it would then as said before you could have the tv over the dressing table by the entrance door. I like honeypoppets idea of the Samsung art tv and you can get dressing tables with fold away mirrors which won't block the tv and then leave the top left hand corner for a chair and table. if you want specific furniture and accessory ideas could you give an idea of styles and colours you like as you don't have any ideabooks set,up. What's also going on the floor?

It would be good to see pics when it’s done however it feels as if keeping the walls (and ceiling) one colour would work better. You could use navy for the bed or accessories, art etc. given you want a monochrome scheme I’d go for wood for the floor. A LVT such as Karndean etc may work better re sound insulation for rooms below?

Hello, I think you need more just a painting. the room doesn't have enough lighting. I can not see from the photograph if you have any table lamps in the nightstands. Also, I can see that in the nightstand there are a lot of things. see if you can buy a furniture that you can place them in. I can see that your bedroom furniture are of classic design. you can buy canva drawings of any style you like or you can buy more than one drawing and place them together. If you buy one painting I think it will look better if the width is similar with the beds width, Also, think what you will do with the side wall which is completely empty. In the side wall you can buy different size of posters in any colour frame that you like (gallery wall art ). Also add some shelves and small decoration items that will make your space looks beautiful. There are a lot of paintings with very bright colours, do your research for a few days and then decide what is the best option and how everything will blend together.

Hello @MS! Here is my advice, I hope it will help you :) For the shelves, be careful where you're going to place them from the top bed, to avoid your child bumping into them (measurements first). Then, I would either recommend using a narrow shelf like the one in the first picture or the Ikea space rack in the second picture. If you keep the bookcase, I would put the shelf halfway between the bookcase and ceiling. You can also remove the bookcase to create a reading nook / area with the beanbag. For the corner, you can use corner shelves or you can also alternate book boxes (3rd picture) on the facing wall (where the bookcase is) and side wall, to bring some dynamism. The dark wood with industrial brackets shelves could work well with the red metallic bedside table and blue of the bed and give an industrial vibe. However, I would tie everything together with an additional colour (light blue, green, orange, yellow) . As it's a children's room, you can keep it really playful and paint shapes in the corner or above the bed (see first picture). A rounded shape like an arch would bring more balance to the room as there is a predominance of straight rectangular shapes. For the white cupboards, I think you can keep them as they are or change to a mat black. What you can do is paint the inside panelling of the doors to echo with the colours you're going to put on the opposite wall or with the bed.
