I agree; they look great when new but despite what they will tell you about the antibacterial qualities of the special hardwood they have selected for you: the crevices will be mouldy and black and difficult to clean in a few years. They are also heavy to lift so tend to stay where they are and that means the area below gets little cleaning and that also get stinky. Sorry to put a spolier on the idea but its best to temper the beautiful pictures with the reality of experience :-)
